GEOGRAPHY | Our Year 8 students recently took their learning beyond the classroom, engaging in hands-on fieldwork as part of their Geography unit: Water in the World. From streamflow measurements to water quality testing and catchment analysis, students explored the vital role water plays in our environment and lives. NETBALL | Six of our talented SMC girls represented the College at the NSWCCC 15 Years Netball Selections on Thursday, showcasing exceptional skill, teamwork and determination. With strong performances across the board, the competition was fierce, making the selectors' job extremely difficult. Tim Riley, textbook author and founder of Riley Publications. Linda Busetto, SM HSC marker and AIS Economics convenor and Kate McLoughlin Senior Manager at the Reserve Bank of Australia (RBA). The sessions covered key syllabus topics and real-world applications, boosting students’ understanding and exam confidence.
