MOCK MEDIATION | Congratulations to Year 10 students Miracle Cevikoglu, Sofia Peros, Olivia Lonard, Nicola Mullan, Amelia Bellomo, and Paige Riddell who represented the College in Round One of the Mock Mediation Competition on Monday 24th March. Run by the Law Society of NSW, the competition gives students the chance to simulate a real mediation — a process used to resolve disputes and avoid court proceedings. The students took on their roles with great commitment, preparing in their own time and attending several lunchtime meetings. Their performance was adjudicated by a practising lawyer, and they received valuable feedback to take into Round Two. Each student demonstrated maturity, confidence, and strong communication skills — a fantastic reflection of the College community. COMMUNITY CONNECTIONS | Last week, our fantastic Year 9 student leaders brought smiles, service, and energy to the WCC Lord Mayor's Afternoon Tea as part of the NSW Seniors Festival! Volunteering their time to serve guests with warmth and grace, our students made meaningful cross-generational connections through dancing, conversation, and plenty of joy.
