DANCE INCURSION | Our dancers were honoured to take part in a powerful workshop with Joel Bray and Uncle Gij, where story, poetry and movement came together to shape the creative process. Guided by Uncle Gij’s storytelling and the Joel Bray Dance Company, they connected with the story of Balana — the strong matriarch who created the Murrumbidgee River to save her people. The incursion provided a deeply meaningful and memorable cultural learning experience.

CAPA EXCURSION | Last week senior Drama and Dance students attended OnSTAGE and CALLBACK, a showcase of 2025 HSC work. It was an inspiring day as St Mary's students continue to work through the various components of the course. Year 12 Drama also had a discussion with Isa Freeman (St Mary's alumna) who shared her wisdom in attaining a perfect 100 HSC Drama score. We are very proud of the success of the St Mary's creative arts students who bring their cocurricular interest in the arts, to their academic study.
