WINTER INITIATIVE | Over the past week the Animal Welfare Club, alongside their mentors Mrs Jovanoski and Mrs Gallagher, organised a winter initiative across the College to collect blankets, towels, treats and toys. On Wednesday the Club leaders took their donated items to the Illawarra branch of the RSPCA and got to meet some of the animals that will benefit from the generosity of our school community. Whilst it was hard leaving them all behind, we hope the blankets and toys will bring some warmth and comfort over the winter months ahead. Students: Yve Fittock - Club President, Ruby Rossetto - Club Secretary, Victoria Nestorovska and Lucy Rowland Junior Leaders. Your kindness and compassion make a world of difference! #AnimalWelfareClub #RSPCA #WinterInitiative #CommunitySupport #FurryFriends #CollegeCommunity #SMC

LAUDATO SI WEEK | St Mary’s celebrates Laudato Si Week bringing together students from St Scholastica’s Glebe, Edmund Rice College, and Holy Spirit Bellambi. The week commenced with a serene Rosary by the Beach led by our Liturgy Captains, embracing prayer in God’s magnificent creation. Yesterday, our Mass was a beautiful start to the day, followed by a special lunch catered by our senior cooking classes, where Student Leaders, Environment Club members, and Prophetic Voice students connected over shared goals. Our students are passionately working to bring Pope Francis' call to care for the earth and the poor into action – living out the principles of integral ecology in various projects and initiatives. #LaudatoSiWeek #StMarys #IntegralEcology #CareForOurCommonHome #StudentLeaders #CommunityInAction #StScholasticasGlebe #EdmundRiceCollege #HolySpirBellambi
