BRISTAS | This term, a group of Year 12 Cookery students have chosen to complete their barista training, which involves preparing and serving a range of espresso coffees to customers. Each Wednesday, students arrive from 7:30am to operate our simulated pop-up café. It’s been fantastic to see their skills developing and to see our staff enjoying some great coffee along the way! This training is nationally recognised and provides students with valuable, industry-relevant skills that can support future employment in the hospitality sector. #FutureReady #HospitalitySkills #StudentSuccess #VETCookery

RETREAT | Our Year 12 students headed off yesterday for their Retreat and are already settling into their beautiful surroundings for what promises to be a very special few days. This time away offers a chance to pause, reflect, and strengthen the bonds they’ve built throughout their journey together. We’ve already received a stunning early morning photo from Attunga, capturing the group at sunrise a perfect beginning to a meaningful and memorable experience. #Year12Retreat #StudentWellbeing #SchoolCommunity #SMC
