THE PLAIN ENGLISH SPEAKING COMPETITION |Year 10 students, Amanda Korie and Asniya Moughal, represented the College in the local Illawarra Finals of The Plain English Speaking Award yesterday. They competed against students from a number of secondary schools in the Illawarra, each presenting an 8-minute prepared speech and a 3-minute impromptu speech. Amanda and Asniya spoke extremely well and were wonderful representatives for the College. Thank you to our wonderful student helpers for their help: Emily Purcell, Rosalie Van Stralendorff, Ryen Gree and Lisa Connelly. #PlainEnglishCompetition #ProudOfOurStudents

YEAR 11 COOKERY | Today, our Year 11 Cookery students had the opportunity to showcase their culinary skills working offsite at the commercial kitchen located at UOW Innovation campus. Some delectable treats made their way back to SMC, just in time for your morning tea. Students prepared scrumptious Apple Crumble Muffins and also crafted a variety of freshly made sausage rolls, including both meat and meat-free options #Year11Cookery #CulinarySkills #AppleCrumbleMuffins #SausageRolls #FoodieDelights #TasteBudHeaven
