Students from Years 7 - 10 were excited to be debating 'for real' and not virtually on Tuesday 21 June against Edmund Rice College. It was a lovely day with topics such as 'Freedom of speech should be unlimited' and 'Statues of controversial figures should be taken down' to test the teams' thinking and debating skills. We look forward to House Debating and more competition opportunities in Term 3!

GOOD SAMARITAN FEAST DAY | The day began with a beautiful Mass which was the first after two years and we are thankful that Bishop Brian and Deacon James celebrated with us. This was followed by awards to long serving staff, then the big surprise act – Abbalanche, The Australian Abba Tribute Show. The SGN Hall was rocking! Lunch was action packed with lots of stalls, activities and food and this was followed by the much anticipated and much missed, House Choirs. It was a wonderful day, one to remember. All funds raised will go towards the Good Samaritan Missions.
