Here’s three interesting facts about the cover of “Our Savior from Self-Doubt.”
#1. The hiker on the front cover features John R. Rosenberg, who is the husband of the book’s author, Gaylamarie Rosenberg.
#2. John is walking along a trail known as the Camino de Santiago. It’s a historic route used for religious pilgrimages in Spain, France, and Portugal.
#3. The fog wasn’t edited into the photo; the original photo was taken to illustrate how mists of darkness can sometimes obscure our vision, even when we are safely walking along the straight and narrow path.

New book — available now!
“Our Savior from Self-Doubt,” by Gaylamarie Rosenberg
Purchase here: https://rsc.byu.edu/book/our-savior-self-doubt
Book Synopsis:
Self-doubt limits our perception of our potential and diminishes our joy and hope in who we are and what we can become. When we don’t feel good about ourselves, we have help. Jesus Christ saves us not only from our imperfections but also from our imperfect understanding of ourselves. This book explores sources of self-doubt and the impact of positive psychology in changing our thought patterns. It emphasizes an often-ignored dimension of the Atonement of Jesus Christ: how Christ helps us overcome self-doubt and unproductive thinking.
About the Author:
Gaylamarie Rosenberg is an adjunct professor of Church history and doctrine at Brigham Young University. She earned BS and MS degrees in education and family sciences / family life education and human development from BYU. She has been teaching classes on relationships and religion since 1991 and currently teaches an eternal family course (REL C 200). Gaylamarie and her husband, John, are the parents of two daughters.
