A glimpse into three weeks ago today - our final hours and preparations for the CHFA NOW Vancouver trade show setup. ✨
We prepared 9 of our 11 Simply Go Natural products for buyers who stopped by our booth. Everyone who visited got an introduction to our brand, our story, and the chance to experience every product on display - to see how they smell and feel on both skin and hair.
We love giving buyers the opportunity to experience the products firsthand, because it helps them truly understand the quality behind the brand and what we stand for. Each buyer also received a sample bag to try the products at home.
We made 150 sample bags — and gave out every single one! In fact, we ran out just as the show was coming to an end. Looks like we prepared just the right amount.
A fun and interesting fact from the show: our Ylang Ylang Body Butter was a big hit with buyers.
What made this even more special for me is that I had completely lost my sense of smell while making the samples because I was sick, so I couldn’t smell anything during production.
But I got my sense of smell back on the day of the show setup, as seen in this video, which meant I was finally able to smell the Ylang Ylang again and experience what everyone else was loving. Perfect timing!
Interestingly, this scent is usually one of the least requested among our body butters in Atlantic Canada, likely because many people here are less familiar with ylang ylang essential oil. It’s actually a luxurious and expensive oil, so it’s not commonly used in everyday products.
Personally, it’s one of my absolute favourites after lavender, so it was refreshing to see buyers really appreciate it.

At CHFA NOW West in Vancouver a few weeks ago, Nationwide Natural Foods had the pleasure of connecting with one of the exciting emerging beverage brands creating buzz in the functional drink space - Popoff.
Founded by Jenn, Popoff is a better for you functional craft soda designed for people who love the taste of pop but want something made with more purposeful ingredients.
