NOW Gallery will be hosting a Private View of Emmanuelle Moureaux’s Slices of Time on Tuesday 4 Feb. Join us for a celebration of colour and an exploration of time. With colourful cocktails and canapés, and a musical performance.

Taipei new Mass Rapid Transit (MRT) Circular Line I am working on since 2011 will officially open on January 31 !!! Commissioned by DORTS (Taipei City Government, Department of Rapid Transit Systems), Emmanuelle is responsible of the train exterior design (5 trains) and interior design (17 trains) as well as the color scheme of 212 elevated steel columns, 8 km steel beams including two bridges, sound barriers and drainage pipes, platform screen doors design (13 stations), exterior elevation colors (3 stations) and staircase wall colors (4 stations) for the 15.4-km-long Circular Line phase I.

“1000 COLORS WAVE” One thousand pieces of textile specially dyed in 1000 different colors covered the 1002 seats of the Imabari City Auditorium, designed by the famous architect Kenzo Tange. The bright colors palette gave off an energy that created an astounding wave of colors which engaged with the ceiling of the public hall.
