Fabulous stay at Blue Lagoon Resort March 26-April 1, 2026 - End of rainy season but we were blessed with a sunny week. the aqua turquoise waters and snorkeling were outstanding! So many different kinds of colorful coral! Hundreds of different kinds of fish! A great aspect about this location is that the coral reefs are accessible even in low tides. Not the case for some other resorts. Our favorite thing about this resort is the staff. They are so very authentically warm, gracious, welcoming. We so enjoyed getting to know some of them! Enjoyed the gatherings when the staff would sing in beautiful harmonies. Stayed in a "Beach Front" bungalow which was the best - just steps away from the water, sound of waves to lull you to sleep. Your own beach lounge chairs. Super comfortable bed and bedding. Great Air con in bungalow (outside temps near 88F and humid). I liked the beautiful Fijian style decor (not "westernized hotel style") built by Fijian craftsman. The private, outdoor shower was wonderful, with the sounds of birds, and the tropical vegetation overhead. Blue Lagoon Resort has 2 different restaurants. The Donu Japanese is exceptional and a reason to choose this resort. The optional excursions to the Sawa I Lau cave, and the village church visit were worthwhile also. There are a number of interesting daily activities to do at the resort, but it is also a quiet environment in which you can just snorkel, sun, relax, rejuvenate. We would choose this resort again!

Amazing stay! Really great staff, views and activities. The Japanese restaurant was incredible. I even left my bikini drying in the resort and they arranged for it to be sent to the next island I was staying at the next day, really great service, thank you!
