Over the long weekend, OA trip leaders went on the first annual Co-Op Retreat. Leaders enjoyed skiing, snow, and a rustic cabin deep in the White Mountains!

Our last abroad takeover for the fall is from Claire Swanby, who spent last semester in Paris! Hi everyone!! My name is Claire Swanby and I am a philosophy major who studied abroad at La Sorbonne in Paris. When I wasn’t studying, I was exploring! I took trips to the south of France to explore the breathtaking national park of the Calanques, and to the château and forest of Fontainebleau to enjoy the fall colors! I had an amazing time on my adventures in France and in Europe. I’m excited for the upcoming semester in OA!

Happy holidays from OA! A few Sundays back we hosted a white elephant gift exchange for our Co-Op leaders followed by a holiday cookie swap to meet out new leaders-in-training! We’re already getting excited to know them even better throughout next semester’s leader’s course! Big shoutout to our very own Kate Bishop for her crafting skills that made these events so special (most notably with the new OA and LIT banners!)
November Trip Recap ❄️ This month OA had some amazing trips around New England and had our first hikes in the snow. From hiking to backpacking and camping, OA leaders and participants took advantage of the outdoors, even in the cold!

OA has you covered with our equipment rentals where we rent everything from microspikes to inflatable kayaks making it easy for you to get outside on your own outdoor adventures! Our third abroad takeover is from Colin who has been spending the semester in Singapore! What’s up! I’m Colin Norstad, and I’ve been studying abroad at the National University of Singapore this semester. I’ve enjoyed exploring the blend of urban life and outdoor  adventures across East Asia while getting a feel for everyday life in Singapore. Some highlights have been hiking along the Great Wall, diving in Malaysia, and summiting Mt. Kerinci in Indonesia.
