We found John online as we were looking for some help with our one-year-old rescue hound mix Lexi. She had been returned to the rescue a few times and had some anxiety and behavioral issues. As soon as John came through our door she responded to him. He has a natural way with dogs and you can tell he cares about them. In just two sessions Lexi is responding so much better. She is doing things I never thought possible. With Johns practical tips and patience, we can't wait to see how much further Lexi can go. If you need a trainer John is the best bet.

My wife and I met John today for our new 3 month old Boxer puppy that we’ve had for less than a week now. Wonderful and hectic week with our new pup, but he almost immediately started getting bad separation anxiety whenever my wife leaves the room. Update
John and his team installed an updated fence this morning and then rapidly trained our 5 month puppy to recognize the fence.
We have an agreed ongoing plan to ensure the dog is able to roam free within the fence.
John also started us off on dog training and we’re looking forward to the next session.
Training continuing. Great progress training today - sit, stay, heel and walking dog on sidewalk and fully addressed nervousness of dog adjacent to traffic. Dog now happy walking along road next to traffic and encountering people and distractions. All in 1 hour - wow!

This is my second time around with John and I continue to highly recommend John’s services for dog training. First time was 18 years ago with my 20 pound rescue bijon mix, Boomer. This time I have a 10 pound rescue poodle estimate 2 yrs old named Bola and he has a big puppy personality.
John does such a good job not only training me on how to train Bola but explaining why we do what we do and how it impacts the dog. Understanding the process helps so much in being able to effectively work with my pup.
After only a few session Bola is able to sit and stay with all sorts of distractions. I’m excited to continue to work with John and see how far we can go with Bola!

Very hands on and attentive to my dog’s behavior. Hired John to help train my dog out of fear aggression and resource guarding. Worked him through trying to guard over us and has helped him calm down around strangers. Definitely recommend!

Stumbled upon John in a desperate search for someone to help me train my new pit bull… My 10 month old pit bull was a rescue and in need of learning basic training like heel and recall. HIGHLY RECOMMEND: Wow is all I have to say. John is incredible with my puppy and knows what he is doing. I am a first time dog owner and have no idea the first thing about basic puppy training.
