I would like to highly recommend the art history tours organised by the Scuola Leonardo da Vinci. We were fortunate to have the well-versed and knowledgable, Monica lead us. The tours were conducted in Italian and relatively easy to understand as Monica pitched the information to our needs and level. What I loved most about the tours was her ability to make the characters and protagonists of the time 'come alive'! This was truly wonderful as we could visualise Michelangelo, Botticelli and other famous artists and sculptors working and contemplating their designs. I also loved learning about the Medici family for example and the important role they played in Florence. We felt as if we got to know the characters as Monica was able to recount stories about them vividly and with endless energy and enthusiasm! Grazie Monica!!

I had a great experience at the school and they make you feel right at home. The two teachers I had Marta and Eduardo were the best. Even tough they only speak italian in class you understand what they are saying, the teacher's where energetic and funny we had a lot of fun during class. I recommend this school to everyone who's thinking about learning Italian in Italy. And it helps that rome is a great city. The school arranged my accommodation and it was in a fine location and a few minutes walk to the bus, colosseum and Termini train station. I'm planning on going back there in the near future.

Dear Scuola Leonardo, I'll be glad if You publish my opinion [Why Scuola Leonardo? Because it's the best! I studied there last year and I had a wonderful time, along with making a great progress in my italian] on Your website! The statement that I made is perfectly true, so it'd be wonderful if You could publish it signed with my name - I always tell my friends that it's the best school of Italian language they can choose, and now it's my chance to prove it even on Your website! I'm really, really happy to be coming to Florence this year again, and to go to school there again. After two weeks in Florence I'm going to continue my study for the next four weeks in Scuola Leonardo in Rome, I'm sure I'll be even more content with this than I was last year! Thank you a lot for the email about my comment, and once more I ensure You that it's exactly what I think and tell people about the Scuola! Best regards

Se vuoi imparare l'italiano questa suola è il posto giusto! Sono stata a scuola in ottobre, tutto il mese. Questo mese era meraviglioso. Il programma è bravo, gli insegnanti molto forti, interessanti e qualificati! Le escursioni che faccia Monica sono molto interessante. E certo vorrei dire grazie mille i miei insegnanti Tiziana e Barbara! Ho trovato i amici nuovi, e Firenze è la città belissima, comodo e molto amichevole. Grazie, mi manca voi! Mi raccomando andare e studiare l'italiano lì e vedere tutto i suoi occhi.

Ho frequentato per due settimane la scuola Leonardo da Vinci a Milano. Era molto interessante nella nostra classe internazionale e gli insegnanti erano tutti molto motivati. Ho particolarmente apprezzato l'offerta "La dolce vita", fuori della scuola. Questo è iniziato con un tour nella città ed è proseguito con visite ai vari musei (Scala, Casa Verdi, Cenacolo). La nostra guida, Valentina, con sua grande conoscenza della cultura e dell’arte era un arricchimento enorme. Ma anche la cena nella Osteria Conchetta, l’Aperitivo Milanese sul isola, il concerto al Teatro Mahler e la gita à Como erano molto divertenti. Grazie mille, è stata una grande esperienza per me! Es hat Spass gemacht, würde ich jederzeit weiterempfehlen!

Der Unterricht in unserer international besetzten Klasse war interessant und die Lehrer haben die Stunden mit viel Motivation abwechslungsreich gestaltet. Ganz besonders habe ich das Angebot „La dolce vita“ geschätzt, welche nach dem ordentlichen Unterricht ausserhalb der Schule stattfand. Das Programm umfasste einen Stadtrundgang und Besuche in Museen (Mailänder Scala, Casa di Riposo Guiseppe Verdi, das Abendmahl von Leonardo da Vinci). Unsere Programmleiterin Valentina mit ihren enormen Kenntnissen über Kunst und Kultur war eine grosse Bereicherung. Zum weiteren Angebot gehörte ein Abendessen in der Osteria Conchetta, ein Konzert im Teatro Mahler, ein typisches Mailändapero auf der „Insel“ und einen ganztägigen Ausflug nach Como. Damit haben wir einen ausgezeichneten Einblick in das Leben in Mailand erhalten. Herzlichen Dank, es war eine tolle Erfahrung für mich

I would recommend that you carry some water and protection against the sun if you are planning to visit during the hot days. Also a quick tip try and avoid the pigeon feeders .

Если хочешь изучать итальянский язык, эта школа - правильное место! Я училась в школе с октября 2016 года, в течение 5 недель. Это время было великолепным! Учебная программа школы очень хорошая, преподаватели отличные, заинтересованные и квалифицированные! Мероприятия и экскурсии свободного времени, организуемые школой, очень интересные. Хочу поблагодарить моих преподавателей, Тициану и Барбару! В школе я нашла новых друзей; Флоренция - чудесный город, красивый, компактный и очень дружелюбный. If you want to learn Italian this school is the right place! I was in the school in october 2015 for 5 weeks. This month was just amazing. The programme is really good, the teachers are skilled, interesting and qualified. The free time activities are also very interesting! I would like to thank my teachers Tiziana and Barbara! I found many new friends in Florence and the city is just beautiful, easy to get around and friendly!

Topadresse für Italienisch zu lernen und Rom zu entdecken: Ich war bereits mehrere Male in der Scuola Leonardo da Vinci um Italienisch zu lernen. Ich habe begonnen als leichter Anfänger mit Niveau A1 und bin jetzt bis B1 gekommen. Alle Lehrer(innen) sind hervorragend und haben ihre eigenen Unterrichtsstile. Du bekommst hier wirklich sehr viel vom Leben und der Sprache in Italien und speziell von Rom übermittelt. Der Unterricht und die Unterlagen sind eigens erstellt und decken alle Anforderungen perfekt ab. Das Niveau ist sehr professional, beginnend beim Einstufungstest, wo du treffsicher in den richtigen Kurs eingestuft wirst. Auch in den Klassen geht es immer sehr humorvoll ab, Alters- oder Herkunftsunterschiede werden im Unterricht sofort abgebaut, und aber auch respektvoll behandelt. Es gibt rundherum auch tolle Freizeitangebote. Und Rom als Stadt ist eine Metropole, wo du immer Begeisterung finden wirst. Ganz simpel ausgedrückt, ein perfekter Platz um Italien in der Sprache, der Lebensweise und Rom, als eine der interessantesten Städte der Welt kennen zu lernen.

Hi everyone I am Roberto! I am Cypriot-Finnish and I came to Florence to join Scuola Leonardo da Vinci for 6 months. These 6 months were simply incredible, not only for the fact that I was learning Italian, but also because of the environment and all the great people I met from all over the world! The teaching method was wonderful and really useful, because every weeek we had the opportunity to learn with new teachers and different styles of teaching. The school helped me a lot not only to learn Italian, but also with all the other things I needed and it made my life in Italy even better.
