Small groups, good teacher, nice location My experience was really good, especially as I was there for only one week. After a short evaluation, they managed to place me at the perfect level. I had three hours of classes every day: 1.5 hours of conversation (6-8 people) and 1.5 hours of grammar (3 people). The teacher, Monica, was very competent, friendly and encouraging. There was a lot of opportunity to practice speaking, which I learned a lot from. Everyone at the school was nice and helpful. They offered a tour of Piazza Navona one evening, which was a nice event. The school is located close to Piazza Navona, which is close to many of the famous sights. I think the course was good value for money, and I learned more than I expected within a week.

The teachers are competent and inspirational and the teaching methods are diverse and thorough. You get a good understanding of grammar and language structure, but also Italian culture and history. Another great thing about the school is the wide range of nationalities of the students you meet. Just as much as you learn Italian, you also get a greater understanding of other cultures, how different we are, but also how alike we are. This is something that I came to appreciate greatly and made my year a very special one.

Leonardo da Vinci, la scelta perfetta per conoscere l'Italia e imparare l'italiano! Da bambino, quando guardavo le partite della serie A del calcio italiano in Brasile, mi piaceva molto la lingua e tutto che parlavano sull'Italia. Quindi, ho sempre avuto voglia di studiare italiano e visitare il paese. Questo anno, alla fine ho avuto i soldi e il tempo! :) Scegliere la SLDV ti dà l'opportunità di, pagando la stessa cosa, studiare in più di una città! Ho scelto una settimana a Milano (la gente più simpatica), una a Firenze (sono uscito ogni notte con gli amici) e Roma (dove ho studiato di più, lezione alla mattina e pomeriggio). Una esperienza che non dimenticherò mai! La scuola ti dà tutto il supporto che abbia bisogno e hai l'opportunità di conoscere gente di tutto il mondo! :) Grazie LDV e grazie Italia! I loved it! I studied two weeks at Scuola Leonardo Da Vinci in Florence and everything was perfect! Teachers, location, atmosphere, personnals (especially Isadora and Silvia help you a lot), education... They are really so friendly and kind when you have a problem they immediately figure out it. If you want to study italian in Florence I definitely recommend it you never regret.

私はミラノでピザ、フォカッチャ、ラザニア、ミラノ風カツレツなどといったイタリアの郷土料理を習いました。全く別のお料理のようですが、それぞれ共通して、材料やスパイスはイタリア定番のものを使いますので 、日本でも手に入りやすいです。 先生はマンマのようで本当に親切でした。それにオリジナルのレシピは健康にも良い内容でした。 私が特に気に入ったお料理は、野菜をたっぷり使うラザニアで、帰国後もよく家で作って家族にも大好評です! エニア先生からイタリアの家庭料理を学べて良かったです！本当にありがとうございました！ I learned to cook pizza, focaccia, lasagna, cotoletta di milanese. They are many kind of dish, but I could make them from almost the same materials and typical spices. Even in Japan, I could cook them easily. Teacher Enia, she is very kind and nice. In addition, her original recipe are good for health. Especially my favorite recipe is lasagna, because her recipe use many vegetables. I always cook it for my family and they love it! I'm happy to learn cucina casalinga from Enia. Grazie mille!!

I loved my experience at Scuola Leonardo da Vinci. I had a teacher who was so superbly knowledgeable and kind and made learning Italian fun--I felt positively challenged and I really like the experience of learning a language where I get to meet students from all around the world. A superbly rich experience. The location is easy to get to and from many parts of Roma. I stayed in the Campo de Fiori and I loved the walk to school each day. The Scuola is near so many great sites. So I was both taking in wondrous Roma and also studying. I will go back here to study here again!

I attended the Corso di Storia dell'Arte to learn more about museums in Florence. I knew that it would be in Italian, and I might have difficulty with it. However, Monica is fantastic; Her Italian is extremely clear, her enthusiasm is contagious. It is easy to see that she knows and loves the Art of Florence and the Renaissance. She explained the significant details, and also, taught us many of the fun trivial items. She was thoroughly prepared. She is the best. I highly recommend these courses for any student who wants to learn more about some of the major art institutions, and also some of the lesser touristy. I cannot wait to return to Florence and take more classes with Monica.

Di sera sempre c'e l'attivita: Tandem per parlare in italiano con gli italiani, Visita guidata (è molto interessante), lezioni di storia e la cultura. Ho i ricordi bellissimi. There are classes that will cover all aspects of Italian; whether that would be to start to learn the language, or improve your studies. The teachers, staff and director are very friendly & helpful in all directions of what you would like to come out of these instructor lead classes, whether group class (of now more than 8), or a one-on-one learning, it's been a very welcoming & educational experience & would highly recommend this school to others with the desire to explore their Italian side

Valuable Experience! This school is amazing. Atmosphere and organization in school are at the highest level. I met people from Germany, Japan, China , Russia , Greek and I enjoy having international lessons. Professor Claudio was amazing, dedicated and willing to explain everything. He made amazing atmosphere at the class I really felt Italian spirit. Also, school are very dedicated toward trips and understanding Italian culture. Every week there are different activities. Highly recommended! :)
