I lost my Dad in September 2018 and my Mom in April 2020 and both times I used All County Funeral Home in Stuart. I can't say enough about Maureen Moran and her level of warm personalized service at one of the most difficult times of your life. I wanted both of my Parents' Funerals to be a celebration of their life and I had very unusual burial requests unique to their personality and hobbies and she made it all happen. More importantly, after the loss of a loved one you are in a cloud of mourning and not thinking straight. All these tasks - with very real deadlines - such as the Obituary with the local paper, burial arrangements with the Cemetery, getting the clothes your loved one is being buried in, selecting the prayer card, the music for the Tribute DVD, in addition to the 30 or so photos for the DVD Tribute, are all coming at you at lightning speed while you are floating in a sea of grief. Maureen will hold your hand and gently guide you through the process with warm reminder emails and phone calls (even on her day off) to make sure that you stay on track. If she was out of the office or working with another Family, she had copied several other teammates so they knew what was going on and NOTHING fell through the cracks. Oh, did I mention my Mom's Funeral was happening under COVID-19 restrictions making it even more of a surreal experience? I was a wreck but Maureen and the other folks gently guided me with compassion so that I was able to get through it. She even had the Death Certificates delivered to the Lake Worth location as I live in Boca and it was easier for me to get there to pick them up. One last thing . . . do yourself and your family a HUGE favor - take advantage of the Pre-Need Services they offer. With my Dad I didn't have any warning of his death and having to make funeral arrangements hours after his death was surreal and extremely difficult. Mom had a Hospice Consult in November and was given a six month prognosis. I made her arrangements a week afterwards and I am so glad I did. I will now be doing that for my Daughters to spare them the agony when they are already emotionally raw. The only thing I wish I could change about All County? That they don't have a location where I live because honestly I would prefer that they handle my arrangements over any other Funeral Service in Florida.
