It took me a while to write this as the experience at this vet was traumatising. We had our dog brought in for an emergency, they kept him in and because of visit hours did not let us see him for 3 days. we had to chase to get even a daily update on his state. When we finally saw him, he was in a cage so small he could not even sit, he had blod all over himself and would not even look at us anymore. We had to request a referral to take him out of there, to another hospital, one more night there, he would probably have died (as confirmed by the second hospital). On top of it, when our new hospital asked for test results, this team "had forgotten" to send the samples we had paid for to actually get tested, making us loose precious hours to figure out what was happening. Plus, they make you pay more, they were pricier than a top tier hospital. Avoid going there at all costs if you want your pet to survive.

We rang Goddard's Vet as an emergency on a Saturday night because our dog was very poorly. We are not from the area and were very worried, but all the staff were so friendly and reassuring. Penny (our dog) received excellent care, she spent two nights there and we were kept informed of her condition throughout - I can't thank them enough

The worse service ever, we spent 5000£ in 4 days on the treatment and not any results, just playing with us. I will not recommend never this vet

I honestly don’t have the words to properly thank Lucy for what she did for my little dog yesterday. He had a bone stuck in his oesophagus and it was such a terrifying experience. Lucy was calm, compassionate, and so reassuring. She made me feel safe in one of the most vulnerable and stressful moments I’ve ever had as a pet owner. She explained everything so clearly and gave me a few different options to help save his life, and I felt like she really cared - not just about my dog, but about me too. Her kindness and professionalism meant the world to me in that moment. Thanks to her, my boy is okay and recovering at home. I’m just beyond grateful. Thank you, Lucy, from the bottom of my heart.

Used Goddard Wanstead for 2 years and if you can actually get through to them and see a vet then the care is generally good. Aftercare such as follow-up about results is generally terrible, requiring you to actively pursue them even if they inform you they will call you. Worst of all though – good luck actually getting an appointment. I have been on the phone for the last 62 minutes and I've gone from fifth to second in the queue. The service is worse than ever.
