Melissa came recommended to me by other military spouses. I was looking for a specific type of life insurance (return of premium), and not just the basic term life insurance. I was having trouble finding options on my own, and I was being bombarded by sales reps from each company I put our information into online only to find out they didn’t even offer return of premium policies. I am so glad I went to Melissa who was able to guide us to exactly what we wanted and even gave us a few different options from different companies. She explained all the policies, answered all our questions, and was available by phone, text and email. It took us about 2 months in total to decide exactly which policy we wanted and then to actually select it and pay the first premium (we could have gotten it done faster, but we weren’t rushing). Melissa was never pushy, and we didn’t feel rushed to make a decision at all. We didn’t even feel pushed to go with any of the policies if we didn’t want to. The whole process with Melissa was so smooth. We even encountered a frustrating issue at the very end when Navy Federal failed two separate times to properly mail out the check to the insurance company to pay for/start our policy, delaying the process by over two weeks! Even then, when Navy Federal completely messed up, Melissa was the perfect liaison between us and the insurance company to make sure the check was received. She called multiple times (at least 5 or 6) on our behalf, and really took the stress out of the situation for us. I HIGHLY recommend using Melissa to select your life insurance policy not only because she is a fellow military spouse, but because she is really good at her job and we are very happy with the policy we selected!

I am so glad I reached out to my community of spouses for life insurance help. Melissa was highly recommended and has been so great to work with. I had been given a quote by another agent through a different company and was being set up with the wrong policy. Melissa was able to identify that and guide me through several different policies that have really worked out for us. She is easy to reach, answers any and all questions and didn't skip a beat even after becoming a first time mommy. She's been awesome!

Melissa goes above and beyond the generic feeder companies out there to fully understand your unique life situation as a military member. She was recommended to me by a fellow service member and I will continue to recommend her services to more as I was very impressed with the care she took to understanding my goals. After attempting to replace an existing term life insurance policy I had with another provider, Melissa recommended I stay with my current provider as it was the best deal available to me long-term. This was after multiple days of doing her own research to ensure I had a competitive rate for my unique medical situation. It takes integrity to NOT sell a policy to someone because it is ultimately in their best interest. For that, I highly recommend you give her a call.
