I contacted Melissa because she is a member of an online professional organization for financial counselors to which I also belong. On that note, I have seen many horrible insurance contracts pass my desk from my clients asking me what I thought about the life insurance they purchased, so I have a very critical eye when it come to insurance products. I have also applied for term life insurance through companies before I worked with Melissa and I was denied each time because of a pre-existing health condition. I have to admit, I was skeptical she would find a company to approve me but I completely underestimated her.
Melissa found me just the policies I was looking for and at amazing rates, to boot. She stayed in contact with me throughout the whole process and, even though she knew I reviewed these products for a living, made sure I understood what each contract was and how it would pay out. I highly recommend talking to Melissa about what your needs may be and giving her the opportunity to find the right protection for you and your family.

I specifically worked with Melissa Schruer and was referred to her by a friend. She made the process quite simple and never attempted to up sell me on any type of policy, rather, she educated me on life insurance policies (this is my first time getting a policy). While the process to actually become insured takes some time, Melissa always stayed in contact to let me know what was happening and followed up with any questions I had. She was also great about never being pushy and was kind enough to follow up when I had forgotten to reply to an email or phone call. I would definitely highly recommend!
