Absolute WORST, most offensive, bottom of the barrel service I have ever received in my life. They pride themselves on being “”woman owned and operated”, yet as a woman I am spoken to like an idiot by their male staff. Bought a “certified pre owned” vehicle last year, drove it off the lot and the check engine light came on the same day and the car needed a new turbo. They fixed it as it was under warranty and hadn’t even been off the lot 2 hours. I kept the vehicle despite my apprehension, and now 16,000 miles later I’m told I need new tires despite being told when I purchased it there last year that they were “brand new tires.” For anyone unaware (apparently including some of the service department at Nemer) the average tires lasts 50,000-60,000 miles. I called and spoke to Jay one of the managers who told me he would check if the tires were brand new when they were put on the car and that he would get back to me as soon as possible. 3 weeks went by and I called several times and left several voicemails and even texted his cell and heard nothing. At one point I was even told by an employee Michael that he “can’t transfer me to Jay’s phone because the phone lines don’t connect to his office phone” and when I told him I had been transferred to his line at least 5 times previously so clearly that wasn’t true, he could suddenly magically transfer me to a line “not connected”
to his. This was the first of many lies, and finally I asked to speak to whoever was above Jay and was connected with Brad. I made an appointment to get my tires looked at and following the mechanics there looking at them, Brad claimed “the tires on the car were probably brand new when you bought it, but you’ve put 16,000 miles on the car since then and tires don’t last more than 15,000 so there’s nothing I can do for you.” Clearly he thought I was born yesterday, although I told him this was beyond false information. He insisted in all his career he has NEVER seen tires last more than 16,000 miles. I asked him exactly what tires are on my car, looked them up, and showed him those same tires online and that they come with a 40,000 mile warranty. He continued to insist he has never seen tires last more than 16,000 miles. I asked him to get the paperwork for my car stating when the tires were put on the vehicle, to which he replied that the paperwork for my car is “in storage”, so he couldn’t access it, as if it’s 1990 and everything isn’t electronic today. The entire conversation he was talking over me and rolling his eyes and interrupting me, lying right to my face despite me showing him the facts that my tires should have lasted at LEAST 40,000 miles. He refused to give me even a single tire, refused to apologize for their clear mistake, and refused to admit that he was lying to my face or that anything was handled incorrectly. I went home and checked my paperwork, and most of the tire requirements for the CPO checklist were not even checked off. DO NOT waste your time with these people, they only want to take your money and once they have it they couldn’t care less and will lie to your face and sleep just fine at night.
