I never leave reviews. I've never had a worse experience in my life at a dealership. I made an appointment to see a 2017 Golf R, a $40,000 car. I came in and talked to Archie. I told him I'd like to see the car, he said let me grab it and I'll be right back. After about 5 minutes he came back and sat down. The first thing out of his mouth was, "So are you going to buy this thing or what?". Immediately I knew this wasn't going to go well. I responded, well I need to test drive the car first before I do anything. Implying I'm not going to drop $40k on a car before driving it to see if I like it. He responds "Well, these are rare and only get a few in, they are like corvettes or other exotics". (It's not even close, a corvette is 90k). I responded: "I need to test drive the car before I do anything, I'm not going to beat on it and leave if that's what you're worried about". He then responds: "Well I'll need to drive the car then, we can't let you drive it". Flabbergasted I walked up and left. My mind was blown. Considering VW is tanking you'd think they would do anything they can to sell a car. He never even asked what I was driving (2016 STI) and how much money I had. I own my own business and could afford to buy two of these cars if I wish. AVOID Archie at ALL costs.
