I found myself and my wife, visiting some friends in Wilmington, Vermont, we are from Allentown, Pa. and we make this trip yearly. Our 2012 VW Tiguan, which we love, decided to have a bit of an issue on Saturday of the weekend. Check engine lights, we read up on the issue in the owner's manual, and gave a call to the closest VW dealer, Martin Nemar, Latham, NY. spoke with, Travis Litts, the service advisor on duty, told him of the issue, on his suggestion, we were told that running the engine would not be advisable and could cause more damage to the engine. made arrangements to have the Tiguan towed over to Latham, about 60 miles away. Travis promised me that the vehicle would have a priority first thing Monday morning, since I explained to him that we were so far from home, and need to get back as soon as possible. Monday morning at 08:00am, my phone rings, it's Travis, and he tells me that the problem was diagnosed and that the Tiguan would be ready to go, by the time of my arrival at the dealership.
I just want to tell someone of the great job that Travis did to help us get back and running, and given the professional service, over and above the level that we expected.
