The staff were great. They made sure I was well informed every step in the process. Dr. Chu was supportive and had a calming presence during my LASIK procedure. I've had a quick recovery with no complications. I was enjoying eyeglass-free, clear vision since the day after my procedure!

Great experience with my appointment at Chu Eye Center. I was told a few years ago that at some point I would need cataract surgery and I knew it was time for a check-up to find out what was going on. From the time I entered the building until I walked back out, it was a great experience. The young lady at the front desk was super friendly and made me feel at ease. Next onto the technician who put me through a battery of tests all the while explaining what she was doing in a very professional manner. After that it was the Dr. who came in, did a final check and explained my diagnosis. The Dr. kept asking me if I had any questions making sure I was informed as to any of my concerns. Bottom line, I am looking forward to my surgery and seeing much clearer in the future.

My mother recommended Dr. Chu to me, as she had her cataracts removed by him 25 years ago and said he did a great job. I too had a great experience with all of the staff and Dr. Chu. They were very thorough, answered all of my questions and walked me through every step of the process. I highly recommend them!

Phenomenal LASIK experience all the way around - Every step of the way. The pain for ~2 hours immediately after was no joke, so be ready for that. But it’s temporary and the next day your vision is incredible. They somehow figured out how to make everything (consult, procedure, follow ups) super fast while not coming off as if they’re just herding you around the office like sheep. Impressive feat! Thanks Dr. Chu and team - highly recommend for refractive surgery.

I've had a wonderful experience at Chu for my LASIK surgery. I talked with several LASIK providers before choosing and had one consultation with Chu and one elsewhere. The choice to go here was ridiculously easy. Staff is kind, welcoming, and informative, they did not push me or try to sell me on going through with the procedure, and the consultation was extremely thorough. They also did everything they could to make me comfortable and safe on the day of the procedure including making sure I had a trusted driver and even discussing my aftercare instructions with my driver as standard procedure. I'm very happy with my choice and I feel like I'm in great hands as my eyes heal.

I still can't believe how painless and quick the procedure was ! I can watch TV without glasses now !! Haven't been able to do that in 50 yrs !! Absolutely amazing !! Lights are white now !! Night driving is so much easier and glare free !! No more cotton balls !! Dr. Chu is the master.

Chu Vision Institute came highly recommended for cataract surgery by friends and my optometrist, and from my first exploratory appointment to my last LAL lock-in, the staff did NOT disappoint! The carefully explained my options, based on the condition of my eyes, and helped me arrive at the right decision for my situation.
Pre-op consults went great. Dr. Chu, Dr. Heckman, and Dr. Bunnell answered all my questions, and nurses and technicians explained the procedures and addressed my nerves with professionalism and good humor. Several people even took the time to relay their personal experiences related to my background.
Surgery and post-op checkups were equally smooth, and (though it's too late) to make a long story short, I am now enjoying the best vision, corrected or uncorrected, I've ever had!
