I went to Chu Vision to get LASIK done in May of 2014. I've never had any sort of real surgery (except when I got my appendix out) and so I wasn't sure what to expect. As you can imagine you need to be sure you go to a good place when you get eye surgery! I chose Dr. Chu due to his reputation as I received numerous recommendations. While I was nervous in the beginning, the Chu Vision staff put me at ease very quickly, and then when it came time to have the surgery everything went very smoothly. Dr. Chu walked me through the procedure, and that very evening I was able to see without my contact lenses. My recovery was quick and easy. I highly recommend Chu Vision and have told many of my personal friends about the experience. It is now 2015 and I have had no issues or problems, and am thrilled to be done with my glasses!

If anyone had told me I would be able to function without glasses, I would not have believed it! For the first time in 50 years, I do not need glasses to drive, watch television, or work. It borders on a miracle! The staff at Chu vision has been professional, caring and calming.

I came for a second opinion. When I walked in the first day I was impressed. It was a home away from home experience . Everyone is friendly and has a lot of knowledge in what Doctor Chu does here. My questions where answered to the fullest, I walked away with confidence that I was in great hands, and I knew that I had choose the right place to give the second option that I was looking for.

I would recommend Chu Vision Institute and Dr. Ralph Chu to anyone. In fact, I brought my sister to have cataract surgery recently because of my successful surgery two years ago.

Dr. Davis was very informative. I appreciate the time that was taken to explain the procedure, including the risks involved for my specific case. While I was really hoping to have LASIK, I was grateful that they informed me of the risks of the procedure due to my specific prescription...and decided it would be best for me to not pursue this option. I can tell that everyone loves their job and tries to go the extra mile to give excellent customer service.

I have long been a patient at Chu Vision for eye care, and always found everything about the clinic to be top-notch. My opinion of the clinic was fortified even further this past November when I suffered a corneal abrasion and needed extended treatment to ensure that this painful and, yes, scary injury healed correctly. Kudos especially to Dr. Dan Davis and Dr. Michelle Watson for their skill, professionalism, and caring attitude; it made all the difference.

Fantastic experience! I had a terrible experience with my first eye surgeon at another location but Dr Chu and his staff did an amazing job of working with me to correct the issue. They took their time, they listened to me and made sure I completely understood each step before moving forward. I would absolutely recommend them to anyone wanting quality eye care.

Chu Vision is a first rate eye care facility. From the moment you check in to the time you walk out the door it’s the best experience.You are treated respectfully and with the best care in mind by all. Very busy place so that speaks volumes alone. Would highly recommend for cataract care. Dr.Chu did a fantastic job and he even takes time to meet you and answer any questions prior to surgery. I felt very well cared for and had no reservations whatsoever. Would highly recommend!

All staff are super friendly and supportive. The environment is conducive to a relaxed atmosphere to alleviate any anxiety might be having about their coming procedure. I was a bit surprised to find that there were personnel there doing their internship. That may explain the number of testing/retesting and waiting one experiences. You seldom see the same person twice until one reaches finalization. At that point the same doctor continues to monitor your progress. There is a LOT of one's time spent waiting. Out of my 72 years I have missed/been late/forgot only THREE appointments. TWO of them were at CHU. Certainly I have 1/2 ownership on these two errors. BUT, that could have been easily avoided if the Promptly app said the TIME in addition to the day. To me, Promptly is basically a waste. This all said, my experience was great. Dr Chu, the other doctors and all the nurses are the best. I am looking forward to the rest of my life being glasses/contacts free. I must give a shout out to the first aesthesis I had for procedure one. I found after the fact, I was out cold, that she had held my hand during the procedure. I thought that was the most humane, kind, thoughtful, supportive action anyone could give to another. THANK YOU! Also thanks to Drs Jessica and Abby, nurses Jocelyn and Christin, as well as the money lady, Amy. All so helpful and patient. One cannot go wrong choosing Chu Vision Institute for eye care.
