My experience went extremely smooth. Everyone I came in contact with was extremely friendly, compassionate and really helpful. Everyone greeted me as if I was their friend and also helped with any questions or nervousness. Dr. Chu and Dr Heckman were very warm and friendly and put me at immediate ease.

My experience with cataract surgery at Chu Vision was exceptional. I initially started the process at another clinic but was not comfortable with the lack of interest or concern with me- the patient. Chu Vision’s employees are just the opposite. It was a comfort to hear more than one tell me they loved their job. It showed. The consultation, prep, surgery and follow up were all stellar. There was not one appointment that the Dr. or tech let me leave without making sure I didn’t have any questions. I was not one of those patients that saw 1,000 times better the next day, but over a month, arrived at 20/20 vision in both eyes which was not a guarantee. What a bonus!

Having cataract surgery at Chu.Vision was a wonderful experience. The people and care they give you and just the overall experience was wonderful. My eyesight is better than I’ve had since I was in third grade. I have no issues afterwards whatsoever. I can’t thank them enough.

Dr Chu, Dr Heckman & the entire staff provided exemplary technical expertise & customer service. I trusted everyone, I looked forward to every visit durning my 2 1/2 months of appointments. I learned to be patient., it takes time.! Wait times where short (right number of tech staff & text messages), state of the art equipment, all staff had genuine concern for how I felt, the environment of the clinic is so comfortable & inviting. My vision is now 20/20 in both eyes & my readers are down from 3.0 to 2.0. My life is brighter & I am soooo grateful 🙏🏾

The Chu Vision Institute staff are personable and very knowledgeable. They have a knack for putting people at ease. They were tireless in providing answers to any questions I had going into my cataract surgeries.
Leading up to the surgery date(s), they send videos regularly explaining the various procedures. They are explicit about the drops used prior to, during, and after procedures. They provide charts so that the patient can keep track of drop schedules - and they schedule all necessary follow-ups, both with their clinic and with the patient's optometrist, prior to the date of surgery.
This was a far less stressful odyssey than it could have been, thanks to the excellent staff at Chu Vision Insitute and the amazing Dr. Chu himself.
My optometrist sent me to the Chu Vision Institute because, as she put it, "he is the best in the region." I have to say ... I'm a believer!

Had an unequal experience in my cataract procedures. One eye became inflamed. The Chu team worked with me for five straight days to clear that information. The second eye procedure went perfectly. Credit to the institute’s drive for excellence.

It's the best experience I've ever had at a doctors office. Everyone greeted us like we were family! It felt like they were happy to work there. The attention for detail was unsurprised with double and triple checking all the data one week and then doing it again the next week. Video calls, 24hr nurse number and videos on how everything was going to work and what to expect! Best of all is that the surgery went extremely well! Thank you for everything! Gary L
