I've been using CleverAccounts for almost a year now and very impressed with their service. My accountant, Vijeta, is very knowledgable in her domain and has always provided timely and accurate advice. Online software is also easy to use however could do with a dedicated mobile app. Highly recommended!

Horrendous experience. I used clever accounts once before which was a ok experience but this time has not gone well. Banking feed bugs, been told i have taken up to much of accountants time, poor guidence on portal. Repeatldly asked then for help for upload of transactions due to error only to be told numerous times do it yourself after explaining of the bug in there portal. Poor form Clever Accounts, telling a customer they are taking to much of your time is not a how you should do business. Im now in a precaroius position with late tax return filing.
Update:After some guidance and training my accounts have all been submited taxes paid. Take time to learn the portal if joining, this will make the experience easy.

I've been working with Hasnain Shafi (who is my personal accountant) and wanted to write a much deserved review for him. He's beyond patient and knowledgable. The portal can be tricky, but he knows great shortcuts and explains the easiest ways to use it. My onboarding experience with him was also terrific. I don't know how he does it, but whenever I send him an email, he gets back to me within minutes! It's amazing but also reassuring. You know he's there to help and be supportive no matter when you shoot him a message . Hasnain is willing to go above and beyond with his time. And as a new user, this is beyond valuable. Can't recommend him enough. Finding the right accountant is such a roll of the dice. I feel like I got super lucky.

I've been quite happy with their service to date. I joined on the condition that they assist me through FreeAgent, not their own software. They agreed and everything is running smooth so far. I recently had some issues running 2 years on my accounts and my accountant Amina got stuck in and sorted it out for me. Of the 4 accountancy firms I've used in the past, they are certainly the better, so I definitely recommend them.

I've been dealing with Clever Accounts for 2 years or so, Amar is my contact and he's very helpful at times when I'm out of my depth. I am happy with the £75 vat a month charge, but was happier still when Amar was able to fight my case when HMRC tried to fine me £900.
From this one effort alone (that I wouldn't have been successful in doing myself) he has made the annual £900 vat accountancy fee seem very cheap indeed!
