I signed up with Clever Accounts a year ago as I began to transition to running my own company. I have found the portal really straight forward to use and I have had excellent and really helpful/ responsive support on the phone from my dedicated account manager Nadeem Arshad whenever we’ve needed to engage for advice or clarification .

Happy with the service as I have been using them for some years now. Quick to respond to any concerns you may have. Very knowledgeable too. No major concerns, besides the online portal which poses a little fiddly at start, but great once you get the hang of it. Thanks.

I've been working with Hasnain Shafi (who is my personal accountant) and wanted to write a much deserved review for him. He's beyond patient and knowledgable. The portal can be tricky, but he knows great shortcuts and explains the easiest ways to use it. My onboarding experience with him was also terrific. I don't know how he does it, but whenever I send him an email, he gets back to me within minutes! It's amazing but also reassuring. You know he's there to help and be supportive no matter when you shoot him a message . Hasnain is willing to go above and beyond with his time. And as a new user, this is beyond valuable. Can't recommend him enough. Finding the right accountant is such a roll of the dice. I feel like I got super lucky.

Amina, is an absolute godsend. Setting up a Ltd. Company for the first time has been a pretty daunting process and till I signed up to Clever Accountants I was pretty stressed. Amina, saved the day! I've been quite happy with their service to date. I joined on the condition that they assist me through FreeAgent, not their own software. They agreed and everything is running smooth so far. I recently had some issues running 2 years on my accounts and my accountant Amina got stuck in and sorted it out for me. Of the 4 accountancy firms I've used in the past, they are certainly the better, so I definitely recommend them.

I've been dealing with Clever Accounts for 2 years or so, Amar is my contact and he's very helpful at times when I'm out of my depth. I am happy with the £75 vat a month charge, but was happier still when Amar was able to fight my case when HMRC tried to fine me £900.
From this one effort alone (that I wouldn't have been successful in doing myself) he has made the annual £900 vat accountancy fee seem very cheap indeed!

I want to highly recommend Clever accounts company. But most of all to mention that the best accountant I have ever encountered is Matthew Horsman. He was extremely helpful when I was going through a lot of difficult time to understand self assessment tax returns. Not only he explained the process, but he did everything in timely manner. I can’t praise enough the amazing experience I had with this accountancy firm.
If you ever need to open LTD or close LTD- to do any tax returns/VAT/Dividend/expenses/ minimum wage explanation- Matthew Horsman is your man! Also Clever accounts gives £150 for your referrals! So really a win win!

I have used their services starting 2016 since I first arrived in the UK. As someone who had no idea about accounting and managing the financial relation with the British HMRC, I have found that clever accounts was a great choice. Not only the online platform is easy to use, but the staff is always responsive, helpful and reliable.
