The process was way different then they had described. They started by offering me one price and when I said I didn’t feel comfortable with it they asked what I would be comfortable with. Once I said my price he stated that he could do that with a partner and he was confident he would get the one. He stated that they would give me weekly updates. I never heard once unless I asked. It also seemed that they were not really trying to get me a partner once I found a new house to buy. There was also a point where they let someone go in to my home with out my permission. I caught her on my ring doorbell and she stated that she was told it was vacant. At one point I did ask if he didn’t get a partner could we meet in the middle. They stated that they could probably do that. In the end I had to take the lower price since I already found a new home. After I took the new price the closing process was also a nightmare. They put the wrong sales price on the closing documents and it just took until 2 days before closing for them to send anything to my new mortgage company. Overall they are nice people but I feel like they took advantage of my situation.

Contacted them about selling my house, after several phone conversations, made an appointment for them to come out and look at it. Day if appointment get a call 10 minutes before scheduled time, saying he was 45 minutes away asked to reschedule for this week,I agreed...haven't heard from them since. Didn't show up or call..nothing! Good luck if you try to do business with them, maybe they'll actually help you!!

Continuously calling my house about selling property. I’ve asked them to stop numerous times they will not at this point. It’s harassment.

Please see below. This is the conversation just had with this company. This company is horrible. We are not idiots here. We expect and accept there is a significant discount to market for the value companies like this bring to a transaction. WHAT is HORRIBLE is that they will not discuss upfront even averages or expectations WITHOUT details so that they can prey on our elderly and sick. SHAME. Pittsburgh deserves BETTER. Please see below. Company: Hello! Looking to sell your home? Let me know if I can help. I am helping a family member I am just trying to understand discount to market with your program I'm happy to help. Who do I have the pleasure of chatting with today? Me: If an agent tells me that the market price if we list is $50,000 as example what discount to that on average can I expect with your company and faster benefits your system provides? Company: I understand. I can have Brad from our team who can answer this accurately. What is the full address of the house you’re looking to sell? Me: No. Sorry. My family is elderly and sick. I am trying to roughly understand if your program and company is worth going to the level of giving you details. If you cannot speak to averages and norms, then you have already answered my question and this company is not correct and not as it should be Company: I understand. The HomeBuyers of Pittsburgh team makes you a fair cash offer based on the current condition of the home. We buy the house as-is, and can close on your timeline. Once we've identified we are a good fit for each other, we sign a sales agreement and our transaction team gets us to the closing table without the hassles or the fees. Me: I'll post just how "shady" this company is. Really Really Bad Company: We buy the house as-is, and can close on your timeline. Once we've identified we are a good fit for each other, we sign a sales agreement and our transaction team gets us to the closing table without the hassles or the fees. We base our offers on the market value of your home in its current condition. We have a transparent and fair cash offer process so you know how much you’re walking away with and when. We need your information for correspondence with our office, regarding your inquiry. We only contact visitors who have asked to be contacted. Could you please provide the complete address of the property you are interested in selling? Me: I am educated in the process the pros and cons. The difference is, your company is quite bad in not outlaying norms or expectations. NO one expects you pay market or close to market. We understand this is a business for you. What is very sad and shady as a company is not being up front, and say..... we pay on normal X percent of market on AVERAGE, and we do this for all the benefits listed above. Just horrible. Company: I apologize for the inconvenience. Me: Just as FYI, I am copying this communication to be distributed publicly. Company: I understand. Me: It's no inconvenience. It is just sad and sign of a very bad comp
