Explained everything to me in detail of what was happening with my hip. I chose to have surgery so to be continued after surgery with my review. Thank you Hailey the PA!!!!!! Here I am now 6 weeks after surgery and dr Ottenberg did an excellent job in giving me a new hip. Everything went as they told me it would and it is so wonderful not having the awful pain I suffered with before the surgery. Like night and day seriously. It was a slow healing process within the first month but I kept up on the exercises and walked walked walked and I have built up the strength in my thigh muscle. It’s amazing how the body heals itself. Thank you MD west one Omaha for the expertise of dr Ottenberg and PA Hailey and all the nurses and other dr’s during the surgery and recovery.

My second visit went great. Had to wait a little while why x rays were taken and than the doctor quickly checked my foot and removed stitches and seem satisfied with my foot and than went home very happy

Dr. Music, his staff, and the hospital nurses were wonderful. I can't say enough good things about my surgical experience. The work done on my spine for a herniated disk relieved the pain immediately. It was amazing. Midwest Surgical Hospital and Clinics are worth the 2 hour drive for me. In my opinion they are The Best and deserve a 5 star review. Thank you Dr. Music!

I am not one to easily cast praise, with a high degree of expectation on basic customer service and performance. However, in this case it’s worth it. Two knee replacements, both done by Dr. Kevin O’Malley. And his team. I’d recommend him and MDWest to anyone and everyone. From prepping for surgery, to the actual surgery, to the inpatient stay both times, to everything postoperative, the outcome, and as important, the treatment of myself (as the patient) and my family was spectacular. As an insider in the healthcare industry, I know what it “should” look/feel like. And that’s what you experience with Kevin and his team (and with everyone at MDWest).

All the staff at MD West Farnam is fantastic. Dr. Gaffney did surgery on my elbow Dec 2025 and is retiring at the end of the year. He has operated on 5 different body parts (2 elbow, 2 wrists and one thumb) for me over the last 6 years. I have a condition that is affecting my connective tissue. I’m going to miss him VERY much and just pray my other thumb and shoulders don’t need surgery in the future. I’d they do though MD West One will be the only place I call.
