Dr Mize and the staff are pros . They treat their patients the way they would want to be treated , which is the highest compliment you can pay a professional. They are punctual and diligent . You do not watse your time in their waiting room, because they are efficient in scheduling. very patient-friendly experience.

"We don't give up on people." It was so reassuring to hear these words, as I have a lot of difficulty at dental appointments because of my pronounced gag reflex. After a successful gum graft in July, I returned yesterday for a cleaning. Their excellent hygienist was patient and caring in her approach and was able to clean more of my teeth than anyone else in several years. Dr. Mize and his wonderful staff deserve five stars for their fantastic level of care.

I became a patient when Dr Rusty Newton was there and then transitioned to Dr Mize. He and the entire staff go above and beyond to make your visit as pleasant as possible. (Evelyn rocks BTW).
I’m here every 6 months (back again today (2/13/19) and still can’t say enough good things about this practice. “Warm, friendly and very knowledgeable” only begins to
describe everyone there. If you need a periodontist, THIS is the place to go.

My experience was amazing! I'm a very difficult patient, I have extreme high levels of anxiety, Dr. Mize and his staff, treated me absolutely wonderful, they didn't allow my bad nerves affect their ability to handle my severe dental needs. I had to have several teeth removed and bone grafting, and implants. The whole experience was very pleasant and afterwards, I had absolutely no pain, I didn't even have to take my pain medication, I had no swelling or pain. Dr Mize is awesome! I highly recommend Sunset Peridontist to anyone who has difficult dental needs and has high anxiety about dental or medical procedure.

These guys are awesome! I am terrified of going to the dentist, much less a periodontic! I didn't go for years and then needed both. I have been going to this practice for years. They are helpful, compassionate, and very considerate of the patient's feelings and past experiences. Plus, Dr. Mize does excellent work and a shout out for Evelyn who now cleans my teeth! The office staff is remarkable also!! Gee, I can't think of a negative because I haven't experienced one.
