Excellent product for handy individuals looking for an "affordable" alternative to a full contractor build. The 6x6 brackets are great for our windy area. This thing is rock solid. The plastic covers did pop off a lot of the screws but a dab of some clear silicone is an easy solution to make it work. If going the diy route be aware that sanding and staining lumber is very time consuming but well worth the effort. We are very happy with the final product.

Love the product! Well built/designed, arrived quickly and great customer service. Quite expensive, so hopefully it stands the test of time. I built a 10 x10 pergola and installed the mosquito netting, which we love. We then ordered the umbrella top, only to discover the brackets will not work if you have the mosquito net brackets already in place. I don't know if I am the first person to want to combine these two features, but a bracket needs to be produced to accommodate for this.
