It’s not a hard build, once you understand that your wood you buy from the store (home depot or Lowes) will not fit and you will need to sand them down a little.

Excellent product. Built mine with 6x6 & 2x6 lumber. The brackets are well built and HEAVY. Combined with the weight of lumbar, get help. I used my tractor and thankful I had it. The Toja brackets allow you to build a basic system or expand it to your imagination.

easy to install the pergola, i like the look, i had toja custom make the sun shade as my pergola was made to fit an existing deck and the size was irregular. the sun shade looks great. the only "ick" is that the screws provided sucked, the metal was too soft, i ended up using galvanized deck screws instead.

Great product, been using for two years now and showing no signs of rust or problems. Only thing is make sure your wood is dry before putting together. I did have to cut down a few pieces of wood so the curtain rods would fit but is due to the wood and not the product.
