Really fantastic product. Highly recommend you have 4 people to build. The fit is really tight, but we used pine and it was a bit humid, I suggest having a sander handy to take off some surface and help slide the brackets on. The screws sucked. 10% of them stripped.

I bought the grid to replace and old metal gazebo that was on it's last legs. The complete experience from purchase to delivery as well as a request to exchange my unused Charcoal shade to the new Crimson to the Customer Service dept were effortless. Very professional and accommodating.. The build went smoothly albeit longer than it should have because there were only 2 of us! Strong son! (12x12x8 using 4x4 Cedar). Bought 4 hammock hooks to attach a few camping hammocks off a few of the posts.
We have to improvise for the way the sun hits our yard so the hooks come in handy to adjust the shade at the back of the grid protect the sitting area.
Think of getting an 12 x 8 shade for privacy option.

Beautiful Toja Grid finished pergola! Easy to use and very secure. Added onto existing 30 yr old deck. Completed with black privacy lattice for shaded roof over deck. Very pleased with quick delivery and in Jonathan’s responsive and kind service in answering all of my questions.
