I had the pleasure of working with Fred, he listens to your work experience, and asks you about the job you want, once he gathers the information he works closely with you and quickly delivers a document written flawlessly and tailored for your next move. I would definitely recommend this company and him by name.

I worked with Fred and he was amazing! He was attentive, understood my ideas and how to implemented them. I have 30 years of experience and it was tall task to trying to boil the most important info. down to two pages. Fred was able to put me at ease and was effectively able to package it for me. He gave me solid advice and like the material says, Resume Etc is there to guide in your job search!

This service was excellent. Was so impressed with how they fixed my resume and loved the assistance with my cover letter! It truly feels like I have found the "Fairy Godmother" of resumes, etc. Look forward to working with them on future projects including my LinkedIn profile as well as future career endeavors!

After using this service, I received a large influx of job opportunities from various sources and websites. This definitely was not the case before I used this service and I'm extremely glad I did. I definitely recommend using this service to get an increased response from businesses and companies.

Underwhelmed with the finished product. Seemed to be more of a canned cookie-cutter product rather than a thorough rewrite based on my actual experiences and accomplishments. At least the cost was not too bad and I will be able to use certain components of the rewrite into a better resume than they delivered. The resume layout is archaic and reminiscent of what one would produce 10 years ago. Lastly, if you do use them, proof read it thoroughly. I found multiple misspellings and incorrect word usages. Do NOT waste your money on the cover letter. It is a basic, one size fits all, script that you can come up with on your own. I chalk this up as a lesson learned on my part for not doing a better job investigating a service. This gets 3 stars only because there are pieces in the resume that I find of value and the overall cost was not that terrible. I just think there are better services available for you money.

The feedback that I have received from hiring managers is that my resume, generated by Fred, is too wordy for the lack of information it offers. It has led to no job offers.

When Fred told me that my resume looked like a “job description versus a marketing tool,” I decided to pay for his services. I was unimpressed when he sent me a barely regurgitated version of the exact same bullet points I already had on the resume I wrote, myself. I feel I was ripped off. What a waste of money!!

DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY OR FRED. He is extremely unprofessional, rude, and his products (resumes, cover letters, etc) are not good. DO YOUR RESEARCH, check Yelp & BBB for his real reviews. I mean clearly look here at Google... he claims on his website that he has 500 5-star google reviews.. WHERE ARE THEY THEN? I (overpaid) Fred $300 for a poorly written resume and cover letter. He basically sent me a template resume that I'm assuming he uses for most people. When I asked him a couple of questions about making edits to the resume, he was extremely rude and unwilling to listen or help. I used his resume for 3 months and received ZERO interviews using it. When I told Fred this nicely, he rudely yelled back at me "Well I'm not giving you your money back" even though I didn't ask for that, I just asked for further help an explanation of his process.

I called and purchased the services for a resume back on 31st of may and spoke to Alfred Mariani on writing me a resume. Paying $315 dollars and was told my resume would be done the following Monday on the 5th of April. I had no one call send me my resume for 2 weeks. So I called to speak with Alfred Mariani and told him I was calling for a update on my resume cause I didn’t get it and he hung up in my face. Okay I was clearly scammed so I reached out to my bank to reverse the transaction. Stay away from this place if you don’t want to be stolen from and have to deal with the Banks after your money was taken for no services rendered. I also will be contacting the bbb on the matter.

Don't waste your time this is not a prank review. The grammar was poor, didn't know there were different font sizes, etc. Resumes, etc did not do a good job for my resume. We had to write the resume ourselves, we sent it to Fred from Resumes etc. several times. I don't think he does the work, some other person was working on it. Your better off finding someone else to do the resume or doing it yourself. Its not worth the $400- he can't even get the grammar correct. What a waste of $400. He also asks you to send him an email confirming you won't cancel the charge on your credit card. Don't be fooled-

BUYER BEWARE I would not recommend this business. Very pushy and unprofessional. It comes off as if you are inconveniencing them. If you do not respond within an hour of a phone call you are texted "I assume you do not want our services - I will move on". That made me hesitant to continue with services but this business was recommended from a friend. I paid $499 for 1 resume and 2 cover letters (cover letters are very similar). I was then suggested to expand my job markets and I guided into getting 2 more cover letters for other industries, another $199 for 2 more cover letters. After spending over $700 (taxes not included), I thought that would include the job search as well. That is another $199. As for the job search - you are emailed weekly with jobs applied to. I received my final update on all jobs applied and in 5 weeks, for $199, only 46 jobs were applied (that is less than 10 a week). I had paid for 4 cover letters to help with with 4 different types of jobs. if 46 jobs are applied over a 5 week period that is 11 jobs a week applied to. I can easily apply to 46 jobs within 2-3 hrs. in one day. I have not gotten one interview - open to entry level and above. Fred requests an immediate positive online review. Check out the YELP for true reviews. Services were no where met to my expectations with spending almost $1,000 during COVID and being unemployed.

Very unprofessional. Fred offers free edit for referrals, but the edits are horrible and his demeanor changes when he is not making money.

Interesting how my poor reviews are deleted.... (originally posted 6/18) stay far away from this business. UPDATED::: Unprofessional is being generous. I am truly disturbed by the behavior Mr. Mariani has displayed. I feel everyone really needs to be aware to of this “business”. I wrote a negative google review (below 6/17/20) regarding my awful experience with Mr. Mariani. To clarify, in his response to my review; my request was to merge 2 career fields into one resume. It was recommended I needed 1 resume ($199), not several, and 3 cover letters ($99 each). He offered $100 off if I paid in full right now. As far as my hesitation... the entire phone conversation (right up to the point he hung up on me) lasted a total of 8 minutes! I’m sorry, I needed a bit more then >8 minutes before I committed hundreds of dollars. The disturbing part, after I posted my review, not even 20mins later, Mr. Mariani called me from a different number and threatened to sue me for slander if I did not remove my google review “within one hour and not a minute more.” He then sent me SEVERAL emails and text messages demanding I remove the review, threatening “aggressive” legal action against me, that he was going to sue me for slander, as well as threats to leave reviews about me at my place of employment. My review is 100% my awful experience with this man and I stand by everything I have written. Unfortunately I cannot add photos to this review. There is countless complaints similar to mine on the BBB website (and yelp). PLEASE PLEASE use caution before utilizing this business and disclosing your personal information. ORIGINAL REVIEW::: EXTRMELY unprofessional and rude!! I reached out to Resumes Etc for a consultation. I scheduled a phone appointment with Fred for 3p that day. Fred called me at 1:45p.. We discussed his ideas and he gave me a quote of $500 for everything recommended. After asking how I liked to pay I requested to call him back (he already called earlier then we had agreed). I don’t like to make impulsive decisions, especially those including a larger amount of money (and not being provided a contract or written agreement.) Immediately Fred became annoyed and told me he Is the busiest company on the east coast “didn’t have time for think about it’s.” Basically I either paid him now or move on. I explained I had been shopping around and I liked his ideas but just needed an hour or so to think about it. The high pressure tactic was an extreme turn off. Fred proceeded to tell me not to bother Calling him back, to just call someone else and then hung up the phone on me. I’m appalled at how extremely unprofessional he has. Don’t even waste your time with this company. You’re better off avoiding this company and working with someone who actually values all their customers and customer service.
