This firm genuinely cares about people. Back almost a decade ago when I was applying for my PR, they helped assure me that I would likely get it and gave me great options if I didn't. They also told me about access to information following which I quickly had my application processed.
Now, they gave me free advice on my mother's application instead of trying to book me for a session and making a quick buck (like most immigration consultants will try to do). I will always recommend this firm to anyone in need of great advice and navigating complex cases.

I would highly recommend Matkowsky Immigration Law for all matters related to Canadian immigration / visas, etc. I had engaged them for my Mom's Canada visit visa which received an unexplained rejection with misrepresentation and a 5 year ban. This decision came to us as a shock because I knew I had exercised due diligence while submitting all her documents. Anyway, after researching about potential lawyers who could handle the case, I came across Matkowsky which was the best decision I made.
After the initial consultation with a knowledgeable senior lawyer - Natalie and gaining a better perspective on the next steps, we proceeded with onboarding the firm to handle Mom's case. We were assigned a very thorough and professional immigration lawyer - Katherine to take charge of Mom's file. She made sure that the needed clarity was given with respect to the process and efficiently answered all the questions we had along the way.
Everything was handled extremely professionally right from the very first communication to the final settlement offer received from the court. Given that the immigration officers notes were not clear enough to serve as a basis for Mom's visa rejection, Katherine's superlative efforts resulted in an out of court settlement without needing a court hearing thereby helping me save money. This settlement meant that IRCC had agreed to re-open Mom's file at a later date and give an opportunity to submit any further documents to support the application. Thanks to Katherine and Matkowsky's proficiency, Mom's visit visa file has been re-opened and is currently in process with the embassy.
All of their lawyers seem to be highly experienced, proficient and helpful with all immigration matters. Highly recommended.

No matter what I say I can't highlight enough how effortless Gina and Sonia made my immigration process !! Despite being stressed all the time over small details, Gina handled it like a boss and ensured that I had nothing to worry about!! And being outside canada as an EE FSW candidate did not hinder our communication as Gina and Sonia were always available and clear with their responses !! I don't actually recall a time where I had to wait the next day to receive a response from Gina !!! ❤️❤️

I hope to help Chinese people who have visa needs but are confused about intermediary companies: In fact, all Chinese people who apply for visas want to find a reliable intermediary, but is every intermediary company that claims to be professional really professional? People who know about the Canadian visa process know that if the materials are appropriate and the language is skilled, you don't even need any intermediary to get a visa smoothly. However, for a Chinese person who has been refused a second or even a third visa, there is nothing more reliable than finding a truly reliable intermediary company. When my husband proposed to me last year and asked me to move to Canada with him and I said yes, we were in bliss and at the same time knew we are about to face a lot of challenges with the pending process of immigration legalities. As much as we are sure we are to embark on a new chapter of our life, we were clueless on the next step legal-wise.
