After one year of having an active home study with minimal exposure, we needed more support with getting matched with expectant/birth parents. Angel Adoption met that need by specializing in outreach and matching. They also have an advocate for prospective adoptive parents who coached us through talking with expectant mothers (EM), encouraged us by sending hand-written cards by mail, and ensured our profile was shared with possible matches. My journey to parenthood has not been an easy one. After many years of fertility treatments and several pregnancy losses, I decided to shift gears and adopt. After reviewing several local and national organizations, I decided to go with Angel Adoption. This proved to be much more difficult than I anticipated and also involved several losses. I was often matched with a birth parent(s) and often chosen by the parent(s) to adopt their child. However, the birth parent(s) changed their mind. Although Angel Adoption explained from the beginning that this is not uncommon, it didn't make the impact any less painful. While some people are matched and able to adopt quickly, this was not my experience and it took me several years to get my perfect little angel. For anyone else who has went through a similar experience, you often wonder why you continue to put yourself through this financial, emotional and mental chaos. I can tell you that aside from the fact that I was determined to not give up and to be a mother, the only reason I kept going was the support that I received from Angel Adoption along the way. Their kindness, compassion, communication and empathy was top notch. They also provide free training and additional resources along the way. I had real conversations with their employees, exchanged emails, phone calls and texts regularly and support & encouragement when I was at my lowest. This process is not for the faint of heart, but if you are ready to adopt, I would highly recommend Angel Adoption. It has been 4 months since my son was born and I am still getting texts, gifts in the mail, etc. long after their services were provided.

We adopted our daughter with Angel summer 2022 and were very happy with our experience. Adoption is a difficult process - some people have easy experiences and others don't. Ours was one of the easy ones. After first contacting Angel, they guided us through the home study and profile process. We were fully ready to be shown to birth moms within 2 months of first contact with Angel. We were fortunate to complete our adoption with the first birth mom we were in contact with after 8 months of waiting and our daughter was born at the 10 month mark. Many people's journey is not as streamlined as ours as they often will match with a few birth moms. One of our most important factors was a quick adoption and Angel delivered.

I started my adoption journey as a single woman looking to become a first time mother. After researching multiple avenues and agencies I found Angel Adoptions. I was very hopeful in the fact they had several successful adoptions to single women.

This was our second time working with Angel Adoption. We chose them the first time because we didn’t know much about the adoption process. They were the perfect company to guide us through it for the first time. They were very informative of the process and once we were matched, connected us with the appropriate agency to complete the adoption with our daughter’s birth state. Going into the adoption a second time, it was a no brainer to use Angel Adoption again. We had adopted our oldest daughter in about a four month period so we had had nothing but success through Angel and were so excited to do it again. This time around, the process had ups and downs. We were connected several times over an almost two year period, but had not found the right match. Angel Adoption (Maggie & Jennifer in particular) were always there for us while we felt all the emotions of an eager adoptive family and sometimes one who felt rather hopeless. Ultimately, we were matched through Angel Adoption near the end of our contact and it resulted in us adopting our beautiful twin girls. We have now added 3 daughters to our family because of Angel and their services and we couldn’t be more grateful! We have found that the adoption process is so unique and different for everyone. It has highs and lows and usually when you’re focusing on the setbacks, a better plan is already taking place for you and your family. The most important thing you can do is pick an agency you feel comfortable with and know will take care of you and the expectant mothers who they work with. Angel Adoption has been that for us and we are very thankful.

We were referred to Angel in 2020 by my company’s EAP. It’s very hard to select an Adoption Agency or Adoption Marketing Organization. We initially took the marketing route because it was more in our budget for the up front cost because we didn’t have the 40k at the time to go with a full agency.
Our 26 months with Angel was filled with ups and downs. We worked with Amanda Kent during most of our time with Angel and she was absolutely fantastic. I know that our ups and downs were very common to the process of private newborn adoption. We had several matches that fell through over the two years. One got within two weeks of the birth and the birth mother decided to have a family member adopt the baby.
In the end, we were matched with the most amazing birth mother and welcomed our beautiful, perfect son Miles to the world. No one wants to hear this as they are navigating the complicated adoption process, but everything was worth it; every failed connection, the birth mother who chose a family member over us, the legal fees that weren’t reimbursed after a failed adoption. All of this process was worth it because we eventually made our dream come true and we did it with Angel. The team was there when we needed them and they helped our birth mother feel comfortable through the whole process.
They also connected us to the most fantastic adoption attorney in Georgia who has been a hero through the surrender, ICPC and finalization process. Angel also connected us with a wonderful home study agency in Florida who has also been with us through the whole process.
You have to understand the the difference between a full agency, and marketing organization and all of the risks, costs and emotions involved with the process. Adoption takes grit, faith, patience, trust, commitment and planning.
We are very happy we chose Angel and would consider them for our next adoption if we choose to grow our family again.

I chose Angel Adoption because I was adopted through private adoption at birth, I wanted an organization that understood the process. The founders of Angel Adoption have adopted their children so understand the process for the adoptive families.
The initial $18,200 fee is a little intimidating in the beginning; however, they create a beautiful profile with pictures you select and information you provide. They provide you with a list of agencies in your state to obtain your home study and then you get to choose who you prefer. I was with Angel Adoption for a little over two years so I did need to pay the yearly fee for my Home Study to be renewed. You will also need to update all of our clearances and references yearly. I was matched with a birth mother around my two year mark and connected with an attorney in her state. The attorney raised concerns about the situation and the birth mother would not meet with the attorney. When speaking over the phone, the birth father provided conflicting information regarding the pregnancy so the attorney would not continue the process. In the interim, I was contacted by my initial caseworker to make my profile active again and not in the connected phase. Within 24 hours, I connected with my son’s birth mother. We bonded immediately. My son was born eight weeks early and was in the NICU out-of-state for 25 days. The attorneys that we worked with were great. The follow-up after my son was born wasn’t that great or lacked, but overall, I was happy that I chose the agency.

We also understood that nothing is guaranteed but we went for it and hoped for the best. We were matched with 7 expectant mothers and at first felt like it wasn't going to work out for us as mothers would change their minds and decide to parent, or choose another family. However it did end up working out for us and are very happy. We are extremely grateful and fortunate that an expectant mother chose us out of many many other couples.
