An update on my previous review: I have no idea why I initially gave 4 and not 5 stars its 6/5 seamlessly! Goddard have treated all 12 of my cats and Ive been a bit selfish by not writing this sooner but I was afraid that if everyone knew how exceptional the staff were at Goddard! How knowledgeable, how I have agoraphobia and social issues but they have consistently bent over backwards to accommodate and provide care to my fur-babies, they have worked alongside others in my life to ensure my fur-babies have the opportunity to be treated, they understand if I cant interact and I hope they know what they have done for me. My furbabies are my reason to be here, and I felt such shame that I was unable to ensure they were medically safe and that I couldn’t provide for them. And Godards along with Cats Protection came in and recognised how hard it was for me to say please help me and they did!… they saw my love for my fur babies and they helped me get them all neutered and they all worked together snd I will never forget that kindness and that dedication. Goddard care about animals so now I can overshare and im sorry I kept it to myself until all my fur-babies had their essential treatments and I have no idea why i previously had it at 4 stars but Thank you Goddard and thank you cats protection!
surgery, has a clean, calm and quiet environment. Always clean and the staff are pleasant and knowledgeable. The vet is very patient and gives oppertunities to ask questions.

What ever you do don't buy medication for your pets from GODDARDS their mark up prices are disgusting and a disgrace
By law they have to give you a prescription £20 per animal at the moment!
Get 12 month prescription and as many repeats of medication you can get and buy medication from these:
Viovet or Animed
Example Advocate £35 online, £110 goddards

After finding my cat in a pool of blood this morning, I thought this was the end,until I took her to Goddard's vets From the receptionist, to the vet,I received first class service. Friendly, and professional, and thanks to them,my beloved girl is still with me. Couldn't recommend them highly enough.

Lovely vets, always very helpful, the receptionist however didn’t tell them we were waiting so we ended up waiting 20 minutes into our appointment time while she just sort of sat there for a while

Had an appointment with this shambles of a clinic this morning for a cat nurturing. Arrive to shutters down, no notification. Distressing the animals by having us drag them back and forth to your practice, and don't even inform us that you're shut. Stood outside with 5 people and their pets. Shameful.

Have used this vets now for 9 years and the service provided to our dog has always been outstanding. Recently our dog had a lump removed from near her eye. Operation ( by Tomas) and recovery went smoothly and now fully healed you can see no scar. Thank you so much to all and for the after care admin in sorting our insurance claim. Would highly recommend this veterinary practice.

The whole team at Goddards Thamesmead are amazing. I have taken many of my dogs there over the years, the love, care and dedication this team show to both pets and customers is outstanding. Recently had my puppy spayed, (by Tomas) and what a surgeon, unbelievable small incision site, and always ready with advice, Thamesmead is lucky to have this outstanding vet in our practice. Also special mention to Rachel, who looks after each animal as if her own. ALL staff members are amazing, spotlessly clean premises, always ready with advice & help. Can't imagine going anywhere else, deserves more than 5*.
Highly recommended and greatly appreciated. Thank you to the whole team. Goddards should be proud to have such wonderful staff at this branch. .
