The beef does not taste anything like what you would get at your local chain supermarket, costco, etc. While marbling may not quite be on par with grain fed cattle, the meat is incredibly soft compared to other grass fed beef and even grain fed beef whether raw or cooked. The taste is also unlike either as it doesn't taste grassy and it doesn't taste "muddy" (for lack of a better term). The beef coming from Seven Sons and their network of farmers actually tastes very clean, even sweet on the end note. I dove right in on my first order with the 1/8 of beef, so from the ground beef, to the ribeye, chuck roast, NY strip, and even the sirloin and hot dogs, to me it is very clear their quality is superior.
It is also in the details. Their packaging, their communication, their ease of use website, their follow up, even the hand signed card from one of the brothers, it is clearly evident they do not cut corners.
I myself have been dealing with a thyroid autoimmune issue on and off for quite some time. A few years ago I found out certain foods like gluten exacerbate my autoimmune response. Since then its been a slow and ongoing process of elimination and figuring out what works and what doesn't. Before reading The Manifesto at Seven Sons but after only browsing their website I knew in my heart I would eventually align with them. I hope to continue the journey with them for a long time coming. Thank you all.
