Mr. Karl Taylor is a fantastic photographer, not just specialising in one field of photography (which is often said, that photographers should do, to distinguish themselves from the others), but equally producing incredible images in many different genres, e.g. business portraits, commercial products shots in studio, fashion shots on location, etc. His knowledge of photography is outstanding, his understanding of physics of lights is extraordinaire and his passion for photography is clearly tangible (especially in live recorded workshops). But what is even more important, since Karl Taylor Education (KTE) is a learning online platform for photographers, Mr. Taylors teaching abilities and the way he passes that enormous quantity of knowledge, is, to put it in a school type of language, top of the class!
There is definitely not a lack of photography teachers and online platforms one can learn from in these days (compared to 10 or 20 years ago). Many of them are amazing, and there are somitimes just small differences between them, going down to their personalities and the way of transferring that knowledge to the students (and maybe to their type of humour). I have to say that Mr. Taylor is one of my personal favourites when it comes to lightning and photography in general - I’ve been watching and enjoying many of Mr. Taylors free videos on YouTube for a long time now.
With my focus in photography changing from editorial work to more commercial one, with the need to learn quickly many different things in photography and in many different types of photography, KTE online platform was an obvious choice. I love how content is organised in sections, the website search functionality works flawlessly and the content is absolutely amazing! Not to forget, the support team is also top of the notch!
I’m honestly thrilled about things I’m already learning on KTE platform, with my passion for photography being ignited once again! In one sentence: I know I’ve made a very important and significant move to improve my photography when I joined KTE :)
