Wow "True Food Kitchen is the chef-driven culinary destination rooted in nutritional science" ate there last week and It's a loud upscale Applebee's with seasonal menus worst experience I've had dining in the last year. Waitstaff was atrocious literally threw my plate on the table and never stopped in their stride meanwhile I was hit with the plate in his bombing run. Add in the fact that when clearing the table the same guy drops food on the table and knocks a dirty knife on to me. The food was sub par considering you want to be a culinary destination maybe make sure your food is better and the staff serving it are at least respectful of the food and the customer.

I cannot return. I just got frustrated with this. I inquired about the pineapple marguerita. The answer was, "If you don't like it, we'll get you something else". So not exactly a descriptive answer or confidence in product. I took a chance. It was delicious. I ordered a vegan Peruvian burger, no bun. I received a regular burger with arugula. During the wait, I did expect to be asked about wanting another drink. That never happened. So, no extra drink and incorrect order. I had to flag an expediter down since she didn't come check on me. "What were you expecting?" Well, my order, actually. by the time they were going to fix it, the rest of the party ate. So I just got cookies. No one came to apologize, ask how it was going, or offer the cookies. Then trying to pay the bill was another debacle. I requested a certain split. Just took quite a few explanations on that. By the way... Is there a reason when I say it's mine, it gets handed to the male at the table. Will we ever learn to ask who gets the bill, or just say "here it is, no rush". I typically over tip servers on purpose. This time I was upset enough to walk away.

A couple months ago I placed an order. Almost none of it was correct. I called and spoke to the assistant general manager. He told me that they aren’t able to give me a refund, but offered a $50 gift card instead for the part that wasn’t edible. I have called twice since to get an update and I’ve yet received the gift card. I’m upset because $50 is only part of the total that I’ve spent and I wasn’t able to eat my food. I’d like for things to be rectified. I never even received a follow up email or call to make sure all is settled.

La verdad es q fui a este lugar por q mi esposa es vegana y tenían opciones venganas pedimos 2 refreshment q no llegaron al mismo tiempo por q alguien despacho mi bebida a otra mesa mi bebida era caliente no se como tienen las bebidas refrescantes con las calientes jamas lo entendí , pregunte a la mesera q recomendaba para mi así q me indicó en korean bbq steak q costaba 29 dolares y resultó q era flank steak q es uno de los cortes más baratos de carne q existe. Jamás pensé q pudiera ser ese corte de carne por el precio, es mi primera vez y última en visitar este lugar porfa lean bien el menú antes de ir

I ate here yesterday for my birthday, I got the sustainable salmon. 1 hour later I broke out in a hot sweat and proceeded to have food poisoning from undercooked salmon for the entirety of the night. I only had one other thing from here, the Brussels sprouts which my husband had and he did not get sick. Do NOT waste your time going here, you will end up paying $106 for one small item, one drink, and an undercooked salmon filet which will leave you sick. Considering the restaurant was not at all busy, the cooks should have been paying better attention to the food they were serving.

I am writing a negative review due to the way I was negatively profiled. I was leaving my corporate office and ordered food from True Kitchen. As I was getting my to go order the waitress looked at me and asked me if I was a door dash delivery driver. I was in a full suit after leaving a business meeting and the waitress had the audacity to ask if I was a door dash driver because of my skin color. That is very unacceptable and unprofessional. She should get better training on customer service skills and not make assumptions based on someone’s skin color. I will not be ordering from this restaurant ever again.

My friend and I went there on Sunday and we waited over 20 minutes for our server. Every single table that came after us got food and drinks except us. This was our first time dining at this location and I will not return. I refuse to give my money to a place who don’t appreciate my kind. We left without eating anything because no one care enough to come to our table.

My husband and I have loved going to true food over the years. But unfortunately, we had the worst experience tonight. First, we were seated somewhere and my husband asked to be in a booth instead. We got moved to a booth and then our server just left us because she probably was upset we wanted to move. Finally someone came. We both ordered burgers. Took a long time. Got our food, my husbands burger has no sauce or any mushrooms on it and over cooked. Our burgers buns are super dried out and honestly the worst tasting burgers we've ever had there. The waitress goes back to ask about his burger. The manager comes out later (after my husband ate his burger) and gave us a little bowl of mushrooms that goes on pizza. Apparently they ran out of stuff in the back and just put whatever they had left on the burger and did not care to explain that to us in the first place. So the manager offers us free dessert? We continue telling him that this burger was just not good and for $18 NOT at all what we expected. So he finally offered to pay the burger. So then we get our dessert… the brownie is tiny and got the tiniest little dollop (about the size of a quarter, no joke) of ice cream that was almost completely melted!! I get the brownie every time we go and have never got something that looked that pitiful. I wish I had a picture. We looked over at the lady near us with the prettiest frozen scoop over her brownie. Needless to say, it was very upsetting and we have no plans to go back :/

The menu items I received today were either spoiled, old, raw or tasted rancid. The cashew vegan cheesecake was definitely spoiled and smelled rancid. The smell upon opening the container was nauseating. When I checked it with the fork, slime was evident. My vegan burger was not fresh, dry and appeared to be reheated to make it warm on the bun. It was literally just pure burnt old patties. My friend’s side of salmon was raw, and it too looked spoiled. The only item edible was the kale salad. If you’re going to claim organic freshness all the time then stand by that especially for the price. I’m all for paying if pure and freshness is the ultimate persistent vision. As a plant only based eater that is the strive. This meal was the complete opposite with 95% of the meal having to be disposed of due to being spoiled.

When we came in it was nice at first but our waiter came every so often the people sitting next to us got food and drinks before we even got our drinks they barely served us and checked up on us food was good but the service kind of brushed us aside

Was a regular customer supporting a local restaurant during these difficult times. However, the hostesses and several waitresses started behaving rudely and seemed like they were trying to make you feel guilty for being a regular customer. The last time I visited was the worst experience. First, when I walked in, two of the hostesses began whispering together and seated me in a back room that was isolated from every other customer. Then the waitress approached and very sarcastically repeated what she thought would be my usual order. I’m not sure what’s going on but this is not how you treat a regular high paying customer. I am very disappointed with the customer service in this restaurant.

I just didn’t like their vegan food. It tasted really weird. The curry doesn’t taste like curry at all and I didn’t know that the rice that comes with it would be black rice.
