I was about to instruct another firm when two friends strongly recommended I talk to Simpson & Marwick. From the first meeting (with Simon Donaldson, who came at short notice and was impressively fully prepared with all the background on the flat I was selling) to conclusion of missives both on my flat and the one I was buying, the service from the in-house team too (Joanna, Georgina and Suzanne) has been simply excellent. It helps that Simpson & Marwick are part of ESPC if you're buying and selling in Scotland. I have already recommended them to two friends about to embark on property transactions.
