The professional and diligent approach combined with the local knowledge of the Aberdeen market really helped the negotiations and we felt supported throughout the process. We wanted to try and complete the purchase as quickly as possible so we were delighted that it was all done within 2 months from when we first contacted you despite the restrictions due to the pandemic and as it was over the Christmas period. Simpson and Marwick are … Simply Marvellous! We first met Richard Loudon, then Property Partner, 10 years ago when we bought a flat in the Edinburgh New Town. We knew immediately that we were in safe hands. So earlier this year, when it came to selling our flat, and buying a house in Stockbridge, we knew to whom we should turn. With 40 years of experience, Richard has an unrivalled ‘feel’ for the Edinburgh property market. However, what sets him apart is the personal touch that he brings to his dealings with his clients. By turns pro-active and responsive, he invests a huge amount of his own time and energy in achieving the best possible outcome for them. At relatively short notice we decided to sell our house in Murrayfield in October 2020. We shortlisted three agents and Simpson Marwick easily came out on top ( their website for example was the best in the marketplace) They were professional in every aspect of the sale: communication, guidance, advice and above all they were very pragmatic. The house sold within 10 days at a healthy price where both parties came out of the process extremely happy.
Ironically we have now bought a house in East Lothian. We couldn’t use S&M for the purchase as they were selling the house but as the selling Agents , once again , they were great. Thank you Matthew, Jill and Richard.
