I would give less than one star if I could. We were made to wait several hours with a dog that had a puncture wound, which went through his chest to his shoulder, who couldn’t stand or lay down, who was bleeding and panting, whilst other dogs were seen for vaccinations and annual boosters. Staff were rude, inconsiderate and showed a general lack of communication and skills, which resulted in eventually after the long wait sending us to a partner hospital (Wanstead - equally terrible) that couldn’t see us, and made us revisit the following day, even though our dog couldn’t walk, and was visibly in pain. Absolute mess from start to finish.

Really busy practice. Reception staff are incredibly friendly, remember who you are etc. Vet herself was so competent and calming for my cats. Good spot for my taxi to drop me off and pick me up too.

The staff are so lovely. Really appreciate they way they look after our FIV cat when other vets locally would not even take care of him.

Amazing service! This place feels like a family as a vet practice should feel where doctors and nurses know the dog and his history, building up a profile for him, bonding with him in the most natural, gentle and kind way possible. My dog Zaido was treated with a lot of love, patience and care knowing he is a bit anxious. We left there happy, confident and relaxed which is such a big win. Team is really good and I can say I finally found the place where I can trust them with my puppy’s issues knowing he is in safe and most importantly loving hands. My experience with other vet practices hasn’t been great until I was recommended this place for which I am deeply grateful. This is the first place that told to register my puppy’s microchip number in the uk since I got him from abroad, which is such a basic thing that no one bothered to tell me in two months since he arrived.

I have my registered with GVG but the Highbury branch is not my local branch. Having said this, I have registered him there as he the Vets!!!! He never makes a sound when he is there and he has serious separation anxiety... he is what's known as a velcro ... love them all at the Vet!
