Third instalment….
Today I attended Tentworld Warana to resolve this issue (described below), not something I’m particularly comfortable with and doubtless not what the staff off the store want to be doing. Spoke with the always brilliant Simone and Stuart. Struggled through my experience, voiced my complaint and was able to move on. My mystery (non) order was identified and I was offered unbiased service despite any previous tension felt. Simone is truly expert on product and that’s that. Turns out you did get more money from me after all. Your stars are back. Im not a liar.
Bellow is the original review I left, I’ll leave it there so it’s obvious what’s happened.
We ordered two air mattresses and offered to leave a deposit (like we did on a different product) we were told not to leave a deposit and we would receive a call when our order came into stock. Roughly 2 weeks later we were contacted to let us know our order had been delayed and the next shipment was due in on December 21st. Christmas came and went, called in the new year to be told that they had no record of our order. I ended up speaking to the infamous Scott who 100% needs to remove himself from the retail industry. He accused me of lying about our transaction with his store, then accused me of having been rude. Damn right I was rude after he called me a liar and lazily tried to blame me for his stores handling of my business. You won’t get another cent from me Scott.
Having made enquires at 2 other local stores that stock Darche products, it was instantly obvious that Tentworld is a different business to deal with altogether. Expert staff, concise information, logical advice. We saved a decent amount of money whilst receiving actual customer service as opposed to the vague wonderings of both other store’s staff. Simone knew what I was asking for straight away, advised about options and potential issues to be aware of. Most of what I wanted was available in stock and the balance was ordered promptly without fuss. She placed our order behind the counter while some browsing took place, she helped other customers as well as me with more questions and was waiting with our purchases at the counter when we were ready to leave.
