It took me a year to find stone masons who would take on a small residential job, but finding the Chimney Savers masons was well worth the wait. A three man team showed up right on time and worked together beautifully to make my dream of two opposing S-curve dry laid flat stone walls a reality. I asked for "elegant" and they delivered "elegant", with expertise and good humour. They tidied up the yard after themselves, and I felt that they were as pleased with the result as I was. The thing I liked the most was they explained a subject I knew nothing about in a way that made me comfortable with the plan they were proposing. Often trade contractors assume everyone knows as much about what they are doing as they do. Chimney Saver Solutions explained my problem and my alternatives clearly. Work was done on schedule and as quoted.

The artisans went through each part of their repairs and replacements, cleaned the lot and even stacked the extra bricks for us. The chimney was tested and found to be fully sealed and functional. It looks lovely. It was a pleasure doing business with a company that takes pride in doing the job correctly and to the customers' satisfaction. When it was time to replace my oil furnace, I was also told it was mandatory to have my chimney inspected also. And as my luck goes, the chimney was in pretty bad shape. Chimney savers came out and installed a stainless steel liner. Both of the guys that came out were really nice and friendly. They got the job done in a reasonable amount of time and the cost wasn't to difficult to swallow. I normally don't take the time to do reviews BUT.....THESE GUYS ARE GREAT!!!!!! My chimney had some wear and tear after 50 years and needed to be brought up to the current codes. I ended up having my flues relined and replacing my wood stove for a way more efficient model and I am so glad I did! Everybody I have dealt with here has been professional, especially the technician, Matt, who has been coming here every year since the upgrades and repairs to clean and inspect my chimney. I just had my yearly cleaning/inspection done and thought I would share my experience and my satisfaction with these guys.

My expectations were far exceeded with the service of the crew. We had arranged for our chimney to be remortared and some minor repairs to the inner sleeve. We were greeted after 9:00am on a Saturday (of a Holiday Weekend!) with smiles and courtesy. We were shown our initial agreement with them, the downpayment received, and an explanation of the work to be performed plus an estimate of the time to complete. Every person on the 5 man crew was courteous and respectful of me and our home. They took great care to not mar our shingles, and cleaned up after completing their work, without prompting. No cigarette butts were left in our yard. When they were done, they thanked me, with a hearty "have a great weekend, Sir". I've not had the best luck with Contractors, but this Company set the bar high with superior Customer Service as their goal. They hit the bullseye!

A thoroughly professional team worked quietly and neatly for two weeks on the 6 fireplaces and 4chimneys in our 100 year old house. They brought all sections of the fireplace systems up to current code and sealed the flues. We now have safe and efficient wood and coal burning fireplaces. We were having problems with the chimney drawing poorly. Prior contractors had not solved the problem. CSS properly diagnosed the problem and made recommendations. Once the workmen started, they identified an additional improvement, which they made as well. The workmen were on time, reliable, and very personable. The work area was immaculate when they left. The chimney draws better now than in the previous 16 years we've lived here.

My husband and I had purchased an older home with multiple wood burning fire places. We were anxious to use them but were concerned about the condition of the chimneys. We were also interested in purchasing a updated wood stove insert. Chimney Saver Solutions came out and completed a comprehensive cleaning and evaluation of our chimneys along with a detailed report complete with digital pictures of the inside of the flue and chimneys. We had a excellent experience with the entire staff. Everyone was prompt, efficient and really seemed to care about their work and us as clients. We will continue to use them for all our chimney needs. We are totally in-love with our new wood stove insert! We went with the Napoleon EPI3T and we have no regrets. It has a traditional flush front with a large viewing window. The manufacture label states that it heats up to 1,500 sq. ft but we have found this beast was covering about 1,000 more sq ft than labeled in 6-18 degree Fahrenheit winter weather. We highly recommend this beautiful insert.
