It was our 1st time eating there & were meeting a friend who suggested it. The food was very different but real & fresh. I got the seasonal chicken breast which came with house-made BBQ sauce, & I can't remember the side dish that was underneath the chicken, but it was amazing. I poured the BBQ sauce on top of the chicken & side dish stack & was amazed. It was juicy, tender, flavorful, etc. I can't remember what the rest of my family or our friend ordered, but they were all very happy with their food. I'd eat there again when we're back in ATX.
We did not order any appetizers or desserts, but there were some very good options that I'd have ordered if we had the time.
The drink menu contained non-alcoholic & alcoholic options that were unique but refreshing, especially the non-alcoholic, non-soft drink options. I got a mimosa (brunch time) & asked for watermelon juice instead (saw it in another drink), & they were pleased to accommodate my request. It was very good with the perfect amount of watermelon juice to subdue the champagne aftertaste.
The restaurant was very busy but nice, inviting, clean, etc. The noise was a bit much but expected in such a large, open dining area.
The staff was in constant motion going from table to table but polite, professional, & friendly.
NOTE: if you want water with ice, you need to request ice water instead of just water that comes in a glass without ice.
