Writing this review is such a bittersweet moment! We found SamIvy when we were in desperate need of a behavior specialist to help us prove that our yellow lab, Lincoln, was not aggressive. Our property had wrongfully accused him of aggression after he defended himself from being yelled at and screamed at by neighborhood kids. He was approached by one of the neighborhood kids who was yelling at him and bit (with no major injuries) when they tried to grab him out of fear and confusion, as we had only moved to the neighborhood two weeks prior. The property management demanded we remove Lincoln within seven days. Lincoln is an emotional support animal for my daughter, who has ADHD, and me. He means the world to us. The thought of losing him caused immense anxiety and heartache—it was truly hard to function. From the very first encounter with SamIvy, I felt seen and reassured. They were committed to helping us prove Lincoln was not aggressive and could be the most well-behaved dog with the right training. Sam personally assisted in writing supportive documents for the property, which were beautifully crafted after our consultation. Once we submitted these documents, we were allowed to keep Lincoln with the agreement that he would complete training and receive a certificate of completion. We then began working with Holli, and we decided to include our smaller pup, Graham, who struggled with severe anxiety. I cannot express how much I appreciate all that Holli has done for Lincoln and Graham. She was patient, thorough, and made sure we understood each task to achieve the best results. She was always punctual, and we never felt rushed. She even checked in with us on non-training days. Holli is hands down the best trainer I have ever met. SamIvy as a whole, from beginning to end, was professional, caring, kind, and incredibly supportive. If you love your fur babies as much as your own children, I highly recommend SamIvy. I am sad that our training has come to an end but forever grateful to Holli and the SamIvy team for keeping our family together. The training has been fantastic, and our dogs are now so well-behaved and even more enjoyable to have around friends and family. Thank you so much—definitely worth every penny!
