We sought out training for our 10 month old reactive, high energy golden retriever, Huffle. After trying positive reinforcement techniques things just weren’t clicking for him. He would bark in the car and at our cats, bite us during play time, pull on leash or plop down and refuse to walk, eat leaves and sticks, refuse to go in the crate, jump on guests, and resource guard. I am thrilled that after just 6 sessions all of these behaviors have been corrected!! While I was initially worried about using the tools, He took extremely well to the prong collar and the e-collar changed everything for us. He is still his goofy, happy self but now he understands who is in charge & knows the rules! Sam Ivy was definitely worth the investment - Holli was our trainer and was fabulous! Highly recommend.

Team SamIvy was fantastic from explaining all the different levels of training to our Trainer Kyle. He made everything clear and was patient when we wouldn't get it quite right. Kyle was like a buddy on the other end of the camera cheering us (Me and Scrappy) on. At the end of each session he would give recommendations on what to work on during the week till the next session. All in all we had a fantastic experience. And we have an awesome service dog.

So thankful for Hollie and that we chose Team SamIvy! We were experiencing behavioral changes and aggression with our Hughie after moving. Being a puppy, under a lot of new stress, my partner and I didn’t know the best way to go about helping him. Hollie gave us the tools we needed to assist him in this transition, respond to these new behaviors in his language.
We have seen him respond to every step of our training, knowing we’re finally communicating properly with him, and really putting our minds at ease in this stressful time. We had a vet visit towards the end of our six weeks with Hollie, and they commented on his behavior, saying they could tell we have been training him. It was such a nice compliment, we have seen small victories everyday but for others to notice was extremely rewarding. The training structure really provided us with a new way of life with our boy, that is better for him and us!
There is so much comfort in knowing we can always reach back out to Hollie as Hughie enters new stages of puppyhood and adulthood, although we feel confident we would be able to put our tools back use ourselves! ❤️

I can’t say enough good things about Sam Ivy Dog Training! My Doberman used to pull like crazy on walks and react aggressively whenever he saw other dogs. It was really stressful for both of us. After working with Treena, everything changed — now he’s calm, confident, and walks peacefully by my side. He doesn’t react to other dogs anymore and even relaxes quietly at home, finding his own spot to rest.
Treena not only helped with behavior but also gave me great advice about my dog’s diet and overall health. You can really tell she cares about both the dog and the owner. Honestly, this has been one of the best investments I’ve ever made, my dog is happier, and so am I!
