My experience with the Sam Ivy virtual training was amazing. I was assigned a Phenomenal trainer Maribel! She worked diligently with so much care and concern for the growth and development of my dog Hazel. Maribel remained genuinely invested, and committed to Hazel’s progress throughout our time working together. Zoom training sessions made it convenient and accessible to remain in our structured setup even while traveling. I appreciated the flexibility and willingness to make scheduling easily work within my availability. Maribel was incredibly supportive and encouraging, while also a great trainer and teacher. I was so grateful to see the behavior changes with consistency once we implemented and practiced what we learned. Thank you Maribel & Sam Ivy for the assistance and awesome training program you have created:)

We were recently got a beautiful Great Dane puppy (Indigo) from a great breeder. Although the little pup was gorgeous and would melt your heart, she also was very opinionated, opportunistic and was smart enough to get her way. I went to Sam Ivy because Indigo was nipping and biting my kids and me. Sadly, this behavior deterred us from getting close to her. After looking at a few dog trainers both local and franchise, we got a consultation with Sam Ivy. The Sam Ivy rep (Brett) was very thorough and honest. He set expectations and discussed methods. Although I was skeptical about training via zoom, Brett’s honesty gave us what the assurance to give this a try.
Next, Emily (our trainer) contacted us. She, not only did she have experience with Danes, ensured all our questions were answered before signing the contract. Emily and the Sam Ivy team were very supportive. Emily was pretty much available 24/7. In addition, if she could not answer a question, she would ask her colleagues. It was very clear that these were animal loving trainers that wanted to enable their clients for success.
Although Indigo was a “difficult” case, we managed to graduate from Proper Pack training. The nipping and biting stopped (I am attaching a photo of my two sons with Indigo- now they can hug her which makes me so happy). Although we are uncertain of what Indigo will do tomorrow, we are certain that we have the tools we need to deal with it. Happy Holidays and special thanks to the Sam Ivy Team!!

Sam Ivy and our trainer Haley has changed my life! My rescue lab/pit, Cooper, attacked our neighbor. I knew something had to be done or I was going to lose my dog. I am incredibly thankful for being matched with Haley. She taught me how to correct unwanted behaviors. More importantly, she taught me how to train Cooper to understand that I am in charge.
The best part of this program is that the dog owner is being trained on how to train the dog. This is super important because the dog learns to listen to its owner, not the trainer. The skills I’ve learned will help me maintain Coopers newfound skill set and obedience. I am excited to use what I’ve learned with my other dog.
I can’t say enough how helpful Haley has been. She is so knowledgeable and reliable. I love that she was (and still is) always available via text, phone, email whenever I had questions. If you are on the fence about choosing Sam Ivy for your training needed, this is your sign to do it!!!!

We have a Samoyed, who due to Covid, was not properly socialized outside the house. She started becoming aggressive with our Pomeranians and was really becoming a handful. SamIvy was recommended to us by our breeder. With SamIvy and our trainer Thuylinh Nguyen we completed a behavior modification and obedience program that has been great for our girl. Thuylinh was knowledgable, helpful and super supportive with us -- we definitely would recommend Sam Ivy.
