I can’t say enough about how great our experience was with Sam Ivy K9 Consultants, and our trainer Erica! Our English Mastiff, Coda, just graduated from the off leash program and we are so pleased with the progress that she’s made. Our main concern with a large breed dog was making sure that she didn’t jump, nip, or run off (taking us with her!). We now have a well behaved 9 month old puppy who can walk off leash beside us—amazing!
Erica broke up the training into manageable parts, which we practiced diligently daily—training is really about training the owners more than the dog! She gave us the skills we needed to successfully train our sweet puppy! Erica was a pleasure to work with—it was super easy to schedule training appointments around our busy schedules and she was always available via phone/text if we had questions. I highly recommend Sam Ivy to anyone who is considering signing up for the program.

Kudos to Sam Ivey’s company. My personal trainer was Miguel who was absolutely fabulous. Beau would turn into theTasmanian devil every time he saw another animal. So I was very skeptical at the start that this would work. With Miguel’s patience, knowledge and experience, Not only do I have a well behaved dog, I became a better dog owner. I highly recommend Sam Ivey for those who want a happy healthy relationship with their dogs. And I am convinced that every dog and dog owner are trainable. Call Sam Ivey. I’m sure all the trainers are wonderful, but ask for Miguel.. u won’t regret it.

My dog recently went through the first stage of training with Sam Ivy and I can tell you that UNQUESTIONABLY they have the best style of training if you want results. I own a Belgian Malinois and they are dogs that are at 10 at all times. After the training we received ESPECIALLY from Blas the trainer it is crystal clear that he cared about the results and me learning how to best create the strongest bond possible with my pup. I could NOT recommend Blas and Sam Ivy K9 Consultants enough!!!!!

This was money well spent. Our dog Scout didn't respect his place in our pack, or us, for that matter. From day one, Gina showed us how to establish boundaries that Scout would respect to our surprise, it worked. Gina taught us how important it is to advocate for him when people approach him in public and try and pet him, effectively protecting him from himself. Gina was always there for us whenever we found ourselves in a situation we felt out of our depth in and she would always encourage us and tell us that we could handle the situation. I know if we ever get another puppy Gina will be our first call to start the training as soon as the puppy comes home. Highly recommend Sam Ivy to anyone looking for a dog trainer, the in home training makes it so convenient and comfortable for both you and your pet.
